This is the milk bar of the university of Peradeniya where you can buy tasty dairy products like hot milk, chocolate milk, ice cream etc. It is a very calm and quiet place where you can spend many more hours. You can buy hot milk after 9 o'clock. But it will be out of stock after 12 o'clock. There are reasonable prices for the dairy items. Please be kind enough to keep your used glasses back at the counter.

Belongs to the University of Peradeniya. Resides near the faculty of arts. Maintained by the faculty of agriculture. This place offers dairy products like curd, ice cream, yoghurt and so on. Chocolate milk is one of the popular drink among the university students. The rates are very reasonable. Apart from dairy products, they sell farm products like eggs for a reasonable price. Even the staff is nice and friendly. The only difficulty is the monkeys and they tend to take the people's stuff. So better be careful when they are around. There are street dogs too yet they are not dangerous. This place is not only for the university peeps but for the outsiders as well. If you need fresh items come and grab it!!!!

The milk bar sells dairy products and occasionally other animal products produced mostly in the varsity farm which is run by the university itself. Ice cream, yoghurt, hot and cold milk etc are the regulars available almost all the time. They are very cheap and quite good in quality as well. Typically it's only university students who visit this place but outsiders are allowed as it is located at the roadside.

This place is a well known place for chilling among University students. Cliques of friends, couples, and individuals come to this place at different times just to chat, or to study or to taste some quality dairy products like cold chocolate or vanilla milk, hot Chocolate or vanilla milk, yogurt, curd with treacle, vanilla or chocolate icecream, soya icecream.... This place is situated aside the mahakanda road well within the University premises and also is a cool place because of all the huge trees it is surrounded by.
And the staff is okay, they serve your choice over a counter. There are two counters, one is to pay and to take the receipt, and you have to produce it to the second counter, which they take it in and serve you what is going to be in that receipt... And there are wooden benches and cement benches, and the prices are fair.
As almost all the customers are related to university (students, staff, minor staff etc) the place is well kept (noone puts gardbage, polythene here and there but right into trash cans) and it is very clean. Also you can enjoy your evening or day time, because noone will interrupt you. So next time you are near here, just try there and have some dairy thing 💜👊
