Our visit to Ocean Floor Seafood was an incredible culinary discovery. The family-run establishment, where the mother is the chef, adds a warm and inviting atmosphere to the dining experience. The devilled chicken was the best we’ve ever had, and the authentic Sri Lankan curries were a true delight for the taste buds. A special surprise was the opportunity to try shark for the first time in our lives – it was simply magnificent. This restaurant undoubtedly deserves a 5-star rating for its outstanding cuisine and memorable dining experience.

We were treated to an incredible culinary experience at this charming restaurant owned by a lovely family during our final day in Negombo before heading home. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the warm hospitality made every moment memorable. The dinner was exquisite, and their freshly made lemon ice tea was a definite highlight! Additionally, we had the privilege of enjoying a front-row seat to the breathtaking sunset. It's regrettable that we found this hidden gem only on our last day, leaving us wishing we had discovered it sooner.❤️

Grilled Crab with Garlic Sauce
Best place in town to eat, drink and watch the sunset. Excellent food and service. You can book a table via WhatsApp and even get a video from the table you booked. We spent 125 euro for 2 bottles of nice Sauvignon Blanc, water and the sea food platter for 2 people. Delicious fish including tuna steak, lobster, prawns and barracuda. The location is right on the beach and nothing blocks your ocean view, it is the perfect place for a sunset. Highly recommended.

Extremely delicious food and super nice family that own the restaurant. We loved every second of our stay on our last day in Negombo before leaving home. Got amazing dinner and drinks (the fresh lemon ice tea is superior!) and could watch the sun go down in the first row. We're bit sad it was out last day and we discovered this gem only then ❤️

Fantastic place on Negombo beach. Their deviled prawns are awesome. What a great place to relax and unwind. A family run beach front bar/restaurant that is outstanding. Once we found them we didn't want to go anywhere else.

Amazing place on the beach. Family owned and run place that highlights Srilankan hospitality. Mom is an excellent chef and every dish is finger licking good.
The family goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and keep coming back.
I've been in Sri Lanka for four days so far and haven't eaten anywhere else for dinner!

Good food, not great, the cuttlefish was overcooked, tuna as well overcooked
prawns were a bit too spicy for some of the people in our group
The Crab in the seafoodplatter is just for show, you can’t count it as food.
Music was too loud, I could barely hear people across the table(mind you tables are not big) - although I requested to lower the volume(they did so for around 10 minutes then gradualy pumped it back up)

Very nice view and friendly staff. Er had our drinks after just a few minutes on the table. We have waited around 30 minutes for our food and everything was fresh and delicious. Very chill flair with a lot of locals hanging around. We paid 14$ for drinks and food which is a bit pricy for Sri Lanka but was well worth it. Would give 10 stars :)

Right on the beach so perfect for sunset. I had great local crab curry and a beer. Service was perfect and family were very nice. Walk down a small street from the road with fairy lights or just find it on the beach and watch kite flying volley ball and cricket
