The best food in the area. And the food is surprisingly affordable too compared to the other restaurants in the area. We went there once on the first day and then ended up going there five times for lunch within our 6-day trip to negombo. Highly recommend the following : 1. Traditional Sri lankan meal with chicken curry 2. Chips (french fries) 3. Chicken fried rice 4. Kottu We also tried deviled chicken and prawn curry with rice. They were good too but the above four dishes were amazing. Posting the pictures for reference. The restaurant also has lovely interiors. These were probably the worst vegetable noodles I had in my life. Perhaps other dishes are fine, but there is no way I will go there and check it out. The woman was a waitress, a cook and the cashier, so add the end she decided to add 10% service automatically to the bill. I could pass the bad food and I would leave these 10% anyway. We have eaten here a few times in the last few days and loved it. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner Lovely people who own it. Excellent portion size, taste and price.. Can't recommend it enough for authentic Sri Lankan fare in a friendly and very clean environment.. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came here by chance , only to see our daughter's name on the wall..!!..she had been in 2020. It is still Fabulous- the traditional sri lankan curry platter was the best so far!!! And the owner is very funny + friendly Service Dine in Price per person Rs 1,500–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went there for traditional sri lankan breakfast food. Cute place, food was great. The chicken Koppu is delicious, it’s a must. We also took the traditional breakfast (dahl and noodles with coconut sambal) which was very good. We wish there were more currys ! Overall very good place. Would recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Best Bar and Restaurant in Town They also serve the best Shisha in Sri Lanka, for real. The Service is very professional, it is a family business and the owner is just nice and friendly and not only about business, he wants to see the people happy. Should be everywhere like here. Stylish and cozy atmosphere as well. Just go there and feel good, everything is made with love 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️

Overshadowed by nearby restaurants, but don't be put off by it's modest appearance, it's a hidden gem! Plenty of choice, whether you want a snack or a full meal. Staff very friendly, we had 2 large vegetable fried rice meals, one with chicken, peppers and cashew nuts, plus 2 large bottled beers ,all for £11. Only in Negombo for two nights but coming back to Ammehula again for our last night. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 4,500–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
