Great ramen place in browns bay! Their tsukemen is possibly the best in NZ! Rich and thick broth. The noodle was a little overcooked, a bit mushy. Otherwise it would be perfect! The small dishes were great too! Will definitely visit again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beef Tataki

Second time back here and ordered Paitan Zero Special and it’s worth it! Staff are friendly and great atmosphere for both adults and kids (they have small kids playing area at the back). Great idea having weekend special which suits those that will fit their budget ($19-$25) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

One of better authentic Japanese ramens in Auckland - newer joint but definitely worth a visit. Ramen may not look as finesse, but taste is 100!! Broth is rich and flavourful without being overly salty. Noodles were also very delicious - springy and not too starchy. We tried both paitan (chicken) and tonkotsu (pork) broth, both were very distinct which was a good touch. We also had some sides - assorted tempura (so good - recommend!!) and miso eggplant (ok - tad too salty for me) So happy to found this gem - all the best Zero keep up the good work!! Look forward to visiting back soon. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Zero Special Tonkotsu

Great tonkotsu with a flavourful, rich thick broth that isnt too heavy. Karaage was light, crispy, large portions and big on flavour. Matcha Tiramisu was fragrant with a delicate mouth-feel. All round great food composition. Staff were attentive. Will be back. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Kara Age Chicken

*Edit* I have return a few times since my first review and have ordered the zero special every times, they must have been finding there feet during my first visit because the last few times I have been it has been amazing, ramen is perfect and the toppings are much more generous. I have been to all the mentionable ramen spots in Auckland and Zero is one of my favourites now. Soooo good🖤🖤 Definitley worth the $28🙏 Really good ramen but unfortunately the price lets it down a bit, $28 for the zero special, which consist of two small bits of pork and an egg. It is a lot more expensive than other ramen restaurants with equal quality food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I’m so glad to see this new ramen shop landed in Browns Bay! The broth, pork and ramen texture are so authentic! It’s been a long while feeling so satisfied of a bowl of Ramen. Enjoying the broth to the very last drop . This is definitely one of the best ramens I’ve had in this city. Our family will be visiting very often ! There is a new awesome ramen restaurant in Browns Bay! Their ramen is awesome. Atmosphere is great, staff is friendly. Additionally, kids area is available. I believe that if you love Japanese cuisine, should try it! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ramen Soup was way too salty, chashu not been cooked properly and we’ve also received worst part of pork belly ( too fatty). I’ve experienced so many Yokohama and also different regions flavors of Japanese ramen but definitely this is not the greatest Ramen for sure. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $40–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Not many ramen choices on the North Shore so very delighted to see another one pop up! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a Japanese-vibe through the wooden walls and furniture. It was very busy when we went so had to wait for a good 25 minutes for our food to arrive but general service was good and being busy it was understandable. I had the tonkotsu ramen and for me it's probably the best one I've had in Auckland. The soup base is very rich and creamy and full of pork bone flavour. I do prefer it just a bit more saltier but thats just my personal preference. Perhaps a shoyu tonkotsu version would be ideal for people that like a bit more punch in the soup, like what Maruten Ramen offers. Overall, great food, great vibe, great service and great price 👍 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
