Our best meal in Malta! The funghi asiago ravioli was amazing and my husband enjoyed his rabbit stew. We loved sitting on the rooftop with our meal :-)

My favorite place to eat out! Whether if it’s the atmosphere or the service it was just perfect! The food is delicious and it s not the usual menu like most restaurants. Really enjoyed celebrating my birthday there. Well done!

Great little restaurant. Very friendly, tasty food and very good value for money.
The waitress recommended the day's special, which was a lasagna for two.. the portion was massive (would have fed 4 people).
This restaurant is a little gem. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt one of the best if not the best restaurant on the island. The food, atmosphere and the service were all just out of this world.
Lets start with the food, I ordered the rabbit stew in a bread bowl. As I was the first customer of the evening I could smell them making my dish, which was already very promising. It was ready really quickly and what I got served was Delicious. My favourite feature of the dish was how the bread took in all the juice of the stew and thus the flavour but kept its crunchy outside, seriously liked this even more than the meat which was also very tasty. It has to be said that the dish was very affordable too (and so was everything else) as the bread bowl was huge with lots or rabbit stew inside, and it had a salad on the side. would also recommend trying their pistachio espresso, where they put pistachio creme on the rim of the cup and then put the espresso in, a very delicious combination!
Then, the Atmosphere. It's like you go back to the 50s highlife , from the music, to the cigar bar and the use of old lamps for lighting. Great use of props and displaying their artisan goods all over the restaurant also helped to make the place look lively. This all together created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere which further enhanced the experience.
Then the staff, my waiter was such a friendly man who enthusiastically explained what his restaurant had to offer, he had a clear passion for the place! He made sure all my wishes were met and was always down for a quick chat. I also had a great conversation with the lovely owner where he explained how he cared more for quality than quantity, and thus he said that he does not put out extra tables in high season. This definitely explains their high rating as clearly they care more about giving customers a great culinary experience than making more money, which is admirable for sure!
Basically, it doesn't really get better than a place like this, should get 6 stars! I will 100% be back when I return to Malta and I will recommend any one who visits Malta to go here. Thank you for the great experience and until next time!

Ravioli with Porcini and Cheese Filling
We found this hidden gem in Rabat. It has a rooftop terrace. The terrace has a nice size and can host up to 8to 10 different parties. The card ist not to big and has a good amount of different dishes to select from. We ate the homemade ravioli (spinach & ricotta, pumpkin & rosemary, artichoke & potato). The homemade ice tea was delicious. The staff is very friendly. We can highly recommend this place for a little escape into the tiny and lovely streets of Rabat.

Fresh Ravioli with Spinach and Ricotta
Somehow strange and shared opinions about this place. Some parts of plate are OK but for instance extra salt on old parmigiana cheese kills primary tastes of it. Where was the sauce? Chef should rethink some details and make guests experience completely satisfied. Italia is in this restaurant close and at the same time far far away.

Wow! That’s the only thing I would say if I don’t have time to review this place. This restaurant is a hidden jewel in Rabat. The service is very welcoming and friendly, the rooftop terrace is where you need to have your lunch if passing by. The homemade fresh raviolis were exquisite. The spinach and ricotta based ones I chose were so creamy, you could eat them as if you were eating baby food. The pumpkin based raviolis were also very delicious and well garnished. The cherry on top was the Carrot cake, which is probably the best Carrot cake I had until now, soft, spongy, with a very well balanced mix of spices, and the sugar paste on top was so dreamy, you would regret not finishing it even if you were full. Definitely going back.

The service and the food was great. I had a rabbit stew authentically made and put in Maltese bread. My girlfriend had spinach ricotta ravioli. Very reasonably priced. And the waitress was lovely. Would highly recommend
