Went there for a late afternoon coffee and there wasn’t much left by way of bakery goods. However the one praline cream pastry we had was absolutely delicious. And the coffee was spot on for someone who’s fussy with their coffee. Apparently most freshly baked items are gone by about 11:00 am so next time we’ll do breakfast here. Not much by way of seating but there’s a nice outdoor area as well. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
I had the salmon baguette which was just lettuce capers and smoked salmon and a Mille fiorree and a coffee all very nice as expected from an authentic French Cafe However it would be nice to know what the price is before being parted of $27.00 You really do need to put the prices on your products so as to lesson the shock Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
We normally love having pastries and great coffee there and a fresh baguette to take home. However today the salmon sandwich was everything but a salmon sandwich. Pic attached. Butter, lettuce, literally two capers, a drop of crème Fraiche and the tiniest of slivers of smoked salmon. I hope they were having an off day, the danish was a bit dense too. If this is a new standard of sandwich I’d rather just spend money on delicious baguette and coffee!
Service is ok, the pastries are ok, the chia seed sourdough is to die for though out of all of their loaves. Service Take out Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Quality, homemade tasty pastries and breads. Though it is pricey and there's no tags with prices written anywhere, you only know while paying at the end. That's very weird and actually wondering if it's legal.
Their coffee is one of the best in Hastings. And, their almond croissants are 10/10

I am a fan of almond croissants. If I visit a new bakery, I assess the quality of the pastries by how well they do this staple. Ya Bon passed the test! What a delightful almond croissant. Crispy, flavourful, filling. My mouth pleased. My stomach warm. My heart full. Continue the great work!
Hastings is darn lucky to have an authentic French bakery of this caliber! Best almond croissants south of the equator! Lovely owners and great customer service.
