Quirky little place, owner very friendly (gave us a chocolate fish) Coffee was nice, not the best, but it was organic. The wharf itself is a busy little place, this was tucked away in the corner away from all the fishy smells from the fish shop on the wharf, give it a go
Great little place with the best view in town :-). My kids love it (specially as they get a chocolate fish every time) and it's sheltered from strong winds. Stephen is always in for a story or two. If you are after a place with a bit of character go to Wharf Espresso!
Soooo not sure what to say. Cool looking at all the different currency posted everywhere. The store owner was sitting in the front area chatting with a friend.
Iced coffee $4.00, gave a $5.00, he kept my change.
Husband just wanted an iced coffee. Ice, coffee, cream, and sweetener. But that's not what was on the menu.
It was served in an 8 oz cup or maybe smaller.
It had ice cream in it, whipped cream on top and a dusting of cocoa powder. The ice cream was to make it cold. Barely any coffee.
It was more like a dessert. Coffee in NZ is different. Been trying to find decent cup for the past 5 days.
Sorry but I have to say: Worst coffee in NZ. NZ have excellent coffee culture so its rare to experience bad espresso coffee. I got a flat white from here and it tasted so bad I couldn't drink it. Worse than Nestle instant coffee.
Always enjoy my walk to the wharf to grab a good coffee and have a chat with owner Steve when visiting Raglan. The location is perfect, and a good alternative to the busy town centre spots
If you like like terrible coffee, unfriendly staff, and the constant buzz of a intamitant radio playing bunnigs ads, then this place if for you. Such a shame as the location is very nice.
Neat little quirky rustic place to wait for your fish n chips and enjoy the view and watch the fishing from the tables provided Nice coffee and hot chocolate A thumbs up from us
