West cafe is located on the 2nd floor of Vizium science centre. It is easy to find it, if you get to the point where you climp up ladder to the Viziums rooftop. I ordered a chanterelle soup (5.50€) and Pavlova dessert (3.50€). Both dishes were super nice. I had to wait for more than 20 min for the soup though (they informed me about it in advance - nice verbal gesture). Some tables were left dirty when I came, and, to my observation, it took considerable time for the staff to clean them. They offer variety of drinks, plus, they have several bottles of table water with mint & lemon which is free of charge. Food is quite overpriced, and the price of side dishes is not even mentioned in the menu, which gives you the feeling that it is included in the price of the main course (so you get a little bit shocked when you have to pay). Service is very slow and unorganized, and didn't leave a serious impression (they put a desinfection spray meant for cleaning the tables next to the food they serve). I had to wait more than 30mins for nuggets and fries. Also the waitress barely spoke english, and the food was pretty expensive for something like that, and all the menu was in Latvian, so we had to translate everything, and it didn’t have much options, mostly food for kids. Ужасно медлительная кассирша, всё путает, еду несут к другим клиентам, цена за 3 котлетки =4€, плюс 3 ложки пюрэ= +3€, картошки нет, пюре нет, есть только рис с гарнира вместо блинов с лососем принесли просто блины... нет слов... Короче, не ходите сюда кушать. А в плане атмосферы научного центра, очень круто, но это никак к кафе не относится... Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Вкусная еда, отзывчивый и улыбчивый персонал. Фри + нагеты =6.50 €. Карбонат + гарнир с салатом= 6.50 €. Роскошное и светлое помещение. Чистота и порядок. Есть уголок для деток.
