Best food we've had in NZ so far. Nice spot and very friendly staff. Food is on the pricier side but worth it. The steak was beautifully cooked and smaller plates were generous and delicious

We decided to pop in to the downstairs Cafe for lunch today as it was the only thing open on a public holiday. The complimentary water tasted weird like that taste that ice has once its melting, however, my chicken burger was delicious and my baby's pizza and chips was very yummy. My partner ordered what claimed to be an Angus Burger on the menu, once his plate arrived we noticed that his burger was made with those super thin cheap as meat patties from the supermarket. The glasses that were set on the table for the complimentary water were dirty. One of them looked like it had white mold on the glass and another looked like it just had old food stuck on the glass. We all ordered milkshakes. The chocolate milkshakes weren't too bad but the lime milk shake was pretty average. The waiter serving us was lovely and had awesome customer service skills. Some of the food was beautiful but don't order an Angus burger or a lime milkshake. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $40–50 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

We ate here on a stop off travelling through Tokoroa, ordering some beers, chips, and mains - salmone pizza and Buddha Bowl. The pizza was a bit average but the bowl was tasty and well portioned. Customer service was great, friendly and made things swift and easy as we’re in a bit of a hurry with a toddler - tantrum imminent 🤦 Enjoy and good luck x

Very nice restaurant in the Middle of Tok, very friendly service and nice meals, very inexpensive as well considering the quality. The menu isn't massive, but that allows them to focus on the detail and increase the quality, and you can really taste the flavour! They also do have a specials board and a great dessert menu. Would definitely reccomend for a night out and am glad I went here with my partner.

Today there are two singers singing for valentine's, really adds the atmosphere to couples and families who are willing to share time and love together, nothing els to say but, Sweet Rose Cafe is a really an amazing restaurant to eat at, and would again recommend eating here for breakfast, lunch, and Dinner: p

I've never left a bad review before but the burgers served were made with the cheapest ingrediants. No sauce or cheese plus im not sure what the long wait was due to as their was only one other customer in the store. Also overpriced. Wouldn't recommend. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Was in town over lunchtime, and stumbled upon Sweet Rose Cafe. Food was awesome, and a really good meal size! Place was pretty busy but the lady in the kitchen was producing the delicious goods in unreal time thanks and keep it up team! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
