Came for drinks just now...was told over the phone to come but if needing food we need a reservation. Just arrived and they couldn't offer any space for drinks or thinking outside the box to offer drinks at the bar...plenty of empty tables had they sat us down we would have had dinner and drinks there just now. Shame about the hospitality as the location is tranquil. In response to owners response - we sat down on the outside lounge area where there was free space as indicated by the wait staff and then got asked to move. The staff need further training on hospitality...they should not have indicated we can sit there if seats were not on offer to sit down...the lack of hospitality to seat us was a real drawback...we would have been happy to sit at the bar....but instead we just got refused and advised theres no space when clearly there are plenty of options available...

Althought the environment is very nice and service was ok, the FOOD was HORRIBLE ! I am not a picky person but both my and my husband's dishes were really bad. My Asian style salmon had no flavor at all, and very small for the price (i ordered the big one) and my husband's ceviche was not a ceviche! I don't know how they can call that a ceviche! Just a pile of some raw veggies and raw fish on top, no lemon tast. I insisted and ordered a desert. the Millefeuille was again, not a Millefeuille and very disappointing.... It may be good for some drinks, but really don't recommend the food in there. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50–60 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

A very spacey and calm restaurant by the water. Lovely atmosphere, the food are very tasty too. Fairly priced, love that many dishes offer a small portion. The service on the other hand is a bit missing. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The food is high quality. Taste of the fish is amazing. Steak as well. Fries are to die for. The waiters are super friendly and really good :) you should keep them. Prices for the “big” portions are a bit steep. I would consider it small and regular portions, rather than small and big. View is nice, not too busy and chill with a breeze.

This place has become our go-to year round. Whether it’s for a dinner & drinks in the late summer evenings, watching the slowly setting sun or a delicious lunch on an autumn Saturday after walk you can’t go wrong. Food is good quality, service is a delight. The decor is inviting and cozy. Their menu is varied, with attention to quality of products and preparation. I love that the provide them option to have smaller size portions, perfect to sharing or if you’re curious to try something different. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Wander Island restaurant is a great place tucked away on small island within an easy walking distance from parking. The restaurant offers a good range of both indoor and outdoor seating. Decor throughout has been done tastefully and provides a cozy setting. The menu offers a good variety of dishes offering something for practically everyone. Furthermore most items are offered as either a main or starter portion which provides the opportunity to try a number of different dishes. Pricing for the quality and uniqueness of dishes is also comparatively good. If you are looking for an all-round pleasant lunch or dinner experience with a setting to match definitely give Wander Island a try.
