Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Wanaka, truly the best Asian food you will find here. Prices are not higher but it’s totally worth it considering the generous quantity and great quality of the food. I tried the pineapple and pork fried rice and it was packed with flavours, chunky juicy pork and pineapple, so tasty it was. The service is really good and attentive and the vibe here is so charming with a great view of the mountains.

10/10 experience! Fantastic food and very friendly service. There are not many Asian dining options in Wanaka and this is a must stop when you are here. We had the pineapple fried rice, pesto prawn and assam fish. 5 star service. Unfortunately, by Asian standards, the dishes lack flavour. The fish and prawn appeared to be cooked separately and the sauces later poured in. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Service and environment were quite nice. Good music selection, nice and quick staff, although food took a bit long to come. We had the : duck curry - 7 out of 10 Wanaramen - 4.5 out of 10. Broth was quite light, not much flavour in it, and the sides were a good plus but also not much flavour in them. Flaming potato : quite good and the wakame was excellent and fresh. Saw other plates next to our table and they looked delicious. Would recommend! Chill vibes, tasty food and nice atmosphere. Food and service is excellent! This place does Asian based fusion, that is, you’ll find all sorts of Asian dishes on the menu and they’re all excellent! The sizzling steak is particularly good, it’s got hints of lemongrass, served on a bed of vegetables on a sizzling hot plate. We had a great dinner at WanaFusion, it is really above expectations. Food price is decent and quality is very good. Service is great, we met with friendly waiters and waitress who warmly introduced us the menu. We ordered the lamb rack and sizzling steak on hot stone, together with Tom Yum soup. The lamb is sooo yummy in the green curry source and the steak is very tender. Five-star experience and I would recommend to everyone to try this out!! short story, skip it. Food: well plated and hot, interesting recipes with quite bland flavor. the Pesto shrimp is worth a try. Service: Very kind, but dead slow, with mistakes. 5 staff were visible when we arrived at 530 with 2 other tables. starters came late, drinks came later. We ordered a vegan dish that definitely had meat in it. The charged us for it anyway. our original waitress stopped showing up after the main dishes arrived, But a quick trip to the register got some service for the second attempt at drinks and final course. ambiance was a bit bright for a sit down restaurant, decorations were cute, views of the lake were obstructed, but exist Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Interesting concept but just misses the mark. It could be the space is too big, tables feel very spread, maybe it’s the gold fish swimming in the bain maire full of dirty water or just the food. Can’t understand why it seems so popular. Maybe we ordered wrong but with plenty of options in town it’s might be worth skipping this one.
