About
The Waldegrave Arms is a traditional 17th Century pub nestled centrally in the stunning village of East Harptree in the Mendip Hills AONB. The pub boasts a large beer garden with outside seating and a children’s play area, an extensive car park, and when the British climate dictates, the main restaurant has two open fire places and the bar has a cosy wood burning stove. A family run pub and restaurant re-launched in June 2019, Head Chef Lowri Coleman (The Ethicurean) has designed a classic British pub menu incorporating contemporary and seasonal elements using produce sourced from local suppliers. We have an excellent choice of handpicked cask ales, a superb wine list, locally sourced gins and a well-stocked bar. Located perfectly for walkers, ramblers and cyclists exploring the local area, we are situated minutes from the picturesque Chew Lakes and a short drive from Wells and Bristol. We strive to provide a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service for new and existing customers and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
