I am here on a cruise and this is perfect! Our cab driver suggested this. Great views, friendly staff. Typical regional wines are self serve and very inexpensive. Very good way to sample what's local in wine, while looking out over expansive valley views of backyard vineyards! I would pick this over an expensive cruise ship excursion any day. The drive out from port was also lovely, with views the entire time. Definitely recommend this place/area.
A surprisingly well maintained tourist attraction, which is becoming a real must see on the Slovenian coast. Clean, with plenty of space to relax. Another plus is the photo point with a nicely done animation that leads you to take your own photo or postcard.
It is 15 mins from Koper. View from the hill is amazing! You see the sea and Koper. For 12 euros you get a glass for wine (branded glass Vina Koper, which you can take with you), small bag for the wine glass and 3 coupons for wine tasting. On the fountain there's 4 different wines which you can try. Each one worths 1 coupon. You can also buy for 12,9 euros plate with cheese, prosciutto, sausage, bacon, olives and bread. It goes perfectly with wine! Nice place for visit! You don't have to make reservation, tables are outside, if all full, you can sit somewhere in the garden and enjoy. Across the street are restaurant Gostilna Krajola and Cafe Refoškoladnica (they have desserts and ice cream with Refošk wine). I recommend!
A must see if on the Slovene coast... Amazing views, the place is really nicely decorated, the wine fountain offers 4 different quality wines to taste! Highly recommended!
TLDR: Couldn't purchase tokens for wine at Merezige Wine fountain because we didn't have their official glasses, despite having bought degustation packages from them before. Frustrating experience and missed opportunity for customer engagement.

I've visited Merezige Wine fountain multiple times in the past, but my recent experience was utterly disappointing. Despite having purchased degustation packages from them previously, which included glasses, I was unable to buy tokens for wine simply because I didn't have their official glasses with me. This policy is not only nonsensical but also extremely frustrating. It seems like they're more interested in enforcing arbitrary rules than in providing a pleasant experience for their customers. Thanks for nothing, Merezige Wine fountain. You've successfully driven away a potential loyal customer.

Very nice place to enjoy the view over Koper and the novel self service wine tasting fountain. The view is free to enjoy, with plenty of seating options. Accessible, several wheelchair parties were there. The wine package costs €12 for 3 x 100ml refills that you tap yourself. And you get to keep the glass.
