Amazing cooking course with dinner afterward. Welcomed by several generations of cooking skill, you will learn the Srilankan traditional kitchen (wich is gorgeous). Several dishes are prepared together teaching you the secrets of Srilankan kitchen. Furthermore this is an experience that needs to be experienced. I have never thought Sri Lankan food is good but after I visited this place, wow.. I fell in love with this food. I love Village traditional food and Village Iced coffee is amazingggggg. And I love the mother and father also son and daughter. We had an amazing time at the restaurant. The food was amazing and the owners are very friendly and caring. Everyone took such good care of us that we really felt like being part of the family. Thanks for everything 🙏🏼 The price is reasonable and the ambience is amazing - we can recommend the restaurant without hesitation! We stumbled across this tiny family run restaurant as it was just opposite our hotel and we are so pleased we did. It’s a tiny, family run business that offer cookery classes and fantastic traditional Sri Lankan dishes. We booked a cooking class and spent an incredible 2hours helping to prepare our 8 dish feast!! All the freshest ingredients cooked by the family over wood fires. Lots of laughs and conversation and genuinely some of the tastiest food we have had. Cannot recommend highly enough. Amazing experience and food. We went there based on the reviews since I am not a big fan of curry and I heard that in this place I will like it and that is 1000% accurate. Absolutely loved the food ee ordered rice and vegetables with curry and it has nothing to do with anything I tried before.
