Exceptional food, absolutely nothing to faulter - possibly one of the best fillets I've taken this year. We also took the lamb, which was also to die for! Service was great, smiling and considerate, and quite fast too. Price is standard European city prices - possibly cheaper than some European cities also. Well done guys! No booking online but filling in the enquiry form worked. Wonderful chowder starter for me and lamb spring rolls for the boss. Mains were pork and chicken. This is the only minus ... My broccoli was stone cold and the boss' carrots too undercooked to actually cut with the knife. Meat was superb and the accompanying sauces. Service a little slow, but boy, they were busy! Visiting Rotorua for 5 days and we ate brunch here twice! Delicious kai served on hot plates (bonus!) & yummy coffee with a variety of milk options, a clean & chill vibe space with excellent service by the team - our kinda pit stop! Urbano Habo dish was a fav and the Bloody Mary was lovely & refreshing. Catering to our toddler who is a fussy eater was also super helpful & staff remembered our coffee order from the first visit so “same again” was a lovely surprise we don’t see often enough around NZ. We stayed nearby, decided to try this place for lunch, had the Urbano Hobo which was amazing, especially the onion jam. So good we came back the next morning for Eggs Benedict, equally impressive. Waitress that served us never asked if we wanted drinks. Had to tell her we wanted drinks. 25 mins later drinks had not arrived. Asked a waiter who said he would check and watched him go into kitchen. Did not check. Drinks arrived after dinner arrived. Did get an apology. Sons meal was lovely but my vegetables were rock hard and cold. Couldn't cut with knife. Waiter picked up plates once finished. No conversation, no asking about meal or Did we want dessert. So we paid and went elsewhere for dessert. Prices were high for what we got and service not up to scratch. Very disappointed. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

My friend and I had dinner here for two evenings during our first trip to Rotorua. The dishes were great and so did the service. Also, the portions were quite large! I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch with a group of seniors. The food cost more than I expected to spend for lunch but my fish and chips with nice salad items was delicious. I thought the fish was incredibly fresh, and the serving size was very generous! The staff were friendly and helpful. Will choose to eat there again for a special occasion.
