Shri Shankara Bhavana is a restaurant on your way to Udupi. It is located to your left hand side exactly on the main road.
My family and I visited on a very busy Sunday evening on our way back from the beach.
There is a small parking lot outside the restaurant, but we parked a few feet away as it was already full.
Upon reaching the restaurant, there are a few steps to reach the entrance. There is seating available in the AC Room as well as outside on the balcony. We chose to sit outside.
It was very crowded, so our order took some time to be taken as well as for the food to arrive.
We ordered - Masala Puri, Pani Puri, Pav Bhaji, Mint Cooler and Cold Coffee Milkshake.
I ate the third item. The pav was soft and buttery and the bhaji tasted really good as it was full of flavour.
Other than the service being slow, there were no other negative points about Shri Shankara Bhavana.

I'm giving 4 star for food is because, Everything we ordered was hot and crisp. But eerulli baje was already made and kept.. it was not that hot and crispy.. rest of the items were very nysh.. infact Mysore masala dosa was awesome.. pavbhaji too .. must try was muskmelon juice

Worst dining experience. We ordered 2 meals. Look at yourself the poor quality of meals. When asked why their is no curd, they said butter milk is the only option, we couldn't identify which is sambar and rasam, both look same and taste so bad. Finally, the sweet is so liquid like some leftovers of rice soaked in sweet water.
Never ever will go again and advice the same to people who are watching to take a note.
