Offering very basic rice and curry fare . Not my kettle of fish! Being vegetarian, had to contend with just three curries which included a side dish. Dingy and dark the atmosphere is surreal. The guys with me who ordered pork said it was horrible and didn't eat . Lots of truckers and delivery vans stop over because of the lack of a better location in this area and the price of meals.
Tasty foods. Reasonable and average low prices. Not have much varieties in curry for breakfast. Simple average place. Very clean place. Friendly staff. As the name says, the twins are running the business. Outside appearance of the shop is less attractive. But, inside the shop it is totally different. Nice interior arrangements. Clay rendered floor and walls. Cadjan ceiling, etc...
If you are a rice eater, then you should consider here as a stop on your travel between Colombo and Kandy. They have rice and curry buffet anytime between 7 AM to 12 midnight. Their food is great too. They have a black port curry, though I haven't tasted it, I have heard it is a good option.
The food is quality and tasty with no added flavors. The place doesn’t look fancy but it’s very reasonable. Loved the meal.
Good for regular travellers like trukies etc. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person Rs 500–1,000 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
