Tomar is great! Every dish we had was amazing. They have a small but decent wine selection. The service was always spot on.
We were guests of the Amorita hotel resort and ended up going to Tomar quite frequently!
We highly recommend this place!

First of all this Bar is Located in a Resort. But it is pretty easy to get there, even if you aren’t a guest as we were.
At the beginning you have to register at the gate (just name and Reason of visit). Afterwards you walk around the builds until you see the pool area. The bar is located just above the restaurant area next to the pool. So you only have to get up the stairs and you will find it.
The ambient of Tomar Bar is really exquisite and the service is also superb. You get a welcome drink and bread for free. Our waitress Inah was very courteously.
We got some tapas drinks and cocktails. Everything was nice, but the portions weren’t very big. But still a 5 star recommendation!
The two stars is simply for the "unlimited wine & tapas" from 4-6pm. We came is at 4pm and were not even spoken to until 4:20pm. We asked how it worked we were told the tapas are up to the chef's discretion and they only had one red wine. we agreed anyway....
What we were brought out was a cutting board with slices of bread topped with random "tapas" (aka not on small plates) and they were not great. Two included chorizo even though I said I don't eat pork. The only seafood option was a sardine and it was not appetizing. The rest were simple vegetables. We didn't get to try anything that we wanted, such as something as simple as paella.
I don't understand the good reviews. The only benefit was unlimited wine but for 1650 pesos a person this place is not worth your money.
We came here for our wedding anniversary and I left feeling sad.
Stick to the regular menu I guess....
