As avid frequenters of Toby C, we were impressed on this occasion by The manager Tommy. There was a query with the bill and he took the time and patience to explain it thoroughly to us. Additionally there was an issue with some of the vegetarian mains we ordered and this was swiftly and satisfactorily dealt with. Great customer service and management skills especially after experiencing nonchalant service on previous occasions. He definitely raises the bar. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was excellent and the service was good the staff were very helpful. We will definitely go there again. We have also had the breakfast there as well. The Waitrose had a major B.O. problem which you could even smell in the restaurant. We were shown to the table, but then ignored, had to get up to get her attention. She did apologise and said has been very busy although there were only a handful of guests in the restaurant. Had carvery which was quite nice, but the meat was full of fat which had to be cut away.
