The only notable perks are ample parking and a strategic location on the Colombo-Kandy main road. The restaurant's interior is outdated, serving typical Sri Lankan food at a relatively high price with mediocre quality.

Thirst aid, used to be a great place to stop over for tea or any meals, but the standards have dropped.
The food quality is good, but the interior is old, gloomy and lacks good lighting and maintenance. I think the glory days are gone, they can spend a bit more to uplift this great location and given the loyal customers who keep returning here.
The washrooms were horrible, I am not sure if the management looked in their own washrooms to see the terrible state it is.

Prices are marked up to steal from tourists. A black coffee with nothing but some sugar on the side for 190/=? Come on, that's like 3x the normal price.

Nice and cozy little place to rest, have some brecky and enjoy a cuppa tea. Breakfast buffet was available and had adequate variety. Taste was good as well. Tea was generous and refreshing. Well ventilated and clean interior. Washrooms were clean as well. Customer service was excellent. Money well spent.

A good place to halt and have some tea.
They have good refreshments.
They were very popular and reknown by many in 80's to 90's by being the only place in the area to stop.
Days have passed but yet people stop here for refreshments.

Good place to have break when you drive between Colombo and Kandy, Look and feel of the place has deteriorated comparatively. The washrooms need serious attention. Quality of the food is okay.
Food is good having buffet for more choices. Clean washrooms. There are more parking slots available outside the area.
