They just newly renovated and are open again! It is now way bigger and has a really charming atmosphere. The rice and curry was one of the best on my whole sri lanka trip. Very happy, polite and friendly stay by the trees. I tried the Fish Kottu and it was very very very good! The portions are so big so you will eat enough! We will come back for more kottu! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 1,000–1,500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We saw a photo with prawns in the google reviews and ordered the same. Thank you google rewiews:) Half of the prawns are simply grilled, and the other half is “Sri Lanka style”, the second option was very tasty. And the whole dish was delicious. It’s a good portion for 2 people. The host speaks good English and he is very friendly

We visited the place in December 2021. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We ate here several times. Lots of good vegan options, we tried out the potato soup which was amazing, the veggie kottu, potato rotti, pancakes, dhal. I highly recommend this place. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

My husband and I just ate here, and it was absolutely amazing! We had a massive portion of the freshest prawns with a beautiful salad, sauce, & rice. Kuma & family are such beautiful souls and we feel so lucky to have got to eat there today. Thank you so much for your incredible food & service!

The best seafood I had in Sri Lanka so far. They do not fry it too much, has their own receipts based on coconut milk, lemongrass. Even mango + passion fruit juice was delicious. Highly recommend

My friends and I had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The food does take a while to be prepared so just be aware, but it was absolutely delicious and well worth the wait. I had the devilled prawns and they were cooked beautifully, and the sauce was flavoursome and nicely spicy. The family that run this place were very friendly and welcoming and had we had more time in Tangalle we definitely would have returned for another meal! Highly recommend!

I found this restaurant my chance walking on the street and I had an amazing kottu and a juice. Very tasty ! The manager is a very good man who care about the people, we had an interesting conversation. I am glad I found this family restaurant and could enjoy a yummy last diner in Tangalle ! He even did a take away coconut rotti for me :) 100% recommanded !
