Great location beside the park with lots of seating indoors and out. Coffee was excellent, using Milk Lab brand. Small cakes were well priced but lunch items will set you back $15+ so we didn't indulge. Good toilets in the art gallery. Very busy in cafe so expect 10 minute plus wait on takeaway drinks. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

There is a great atmosphere in the garden. Delicious food and drinks, especially the coffee. However, you sometimes have to wait quite a long time for the food/drinks to be served. Very friendly and friendly staff. Perfect place for a relaxing weekend morning/afternoon. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Insulted by ignorant, arrogant staff. Arrived for a late lunch. We were completely ignored while reviewing cabinet option. As my wife made a choice, the last piece was whipped away and when I asked if that option was gone I was given a monosyllabic yes with no offer of assistance. After a period of perhaps 10 minutes of being ignored we were instructed by a poor excuse of a maître de, if we wanted to eat to sit down and we would be asked for our order because ‘I know you know what you want’. We didn’t, weren’t offered menus or anything else and after taking a seat decided we would offer our custom to a business that had a better idea about what customer service means. Sadly I think I’ve been to the Suter Cafe for the last time and would not recommend. An absolutely stunning location for a cafe, it is ruined by the rude and very strange FOH/ Manager. Other staff seem nice so I feel sorry for them having to work with her. Although much of the food is in a cabinet, you are ordered to sit and wait for her to come and take your order at the table, and then watch as people who come after you get served first. She is consistently overbearing, unpleasant and makes it an uncomfortable experience. This time we left without ordering, other times when we have managed to get coffee and cake it has been good, other food like toasted sandwiches $16, pies $19! are overpriced. Get takeaway from another cafe and sit in the lovely Queens Gardens instead. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
A special little find. Next to/ part of art gallery. Breakfast bap was best I've tasted for years and years. Only thing that ruined it a bit was it was understaffed and we had to ask to be served. And be AWARE... This is the easily the most expensive care I've been to in the area and probably outside Switzerland!! ( the last place I almost fainted at the prices) worth a special trip.... But take loads of money! Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

We would have loved to have eaten here, the atmosphere and the menu was great. Tried to order at the counter but were advised to take a seat and wait for table service. Unfortunately we sat waiting for around 15 mins and were completely ignored. Whilst we saw other people ordering at the counter and others who had sat down having their orders taken. I think the service was confused and disorganised and eventually we left without ordering and went somewhere else. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Such a beautiful location ruined it with the experience - when browsing counter food, rude front of house rushing to get you to the table, then no chance to study menu rushed to order. Bad choice the nourish bowl is half a plate of cold boiled veges. No description on blackboard only menu so no idea what it comes with except smoked salmon $28, was expecting a grain of some type, avo, nuts, kimchi what every other nourish bowl includes. Don’t recommend at all, Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30
Really beautiful location for a café. Definitely worth sitting outside if you can - especially for the birdsong and sunshine. The food was great and served quickly, but it was quite a long wait on the coffees. The prices are on the higher end for breakfast. But overall, well worth a visit! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
Food selection is limited and they were out of a few things. Quality was okay - a few of the cabinet options like the veg fruited and arancini balls are dry. Terrible service and ordering system. It’s apparently table service but not designed that way as most of the food is in the cabinet and almost everyone waits by the cabinet and till to order to then just be sent a table. Where you wait a very long time (at least 15mins). Plus there was piles and piles of dishes from uncleared tables. We had to clear off a table to sit and they were all piled on another table. This wasn’t cleared the whole time we were there Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
