First of all I must say, it’s delicious
Entrance/parking - narrow but enough for 3-4 cars.
Ambiance - very nice. 2 tables inside and 3-4 outside on the sand
Service is very good. Lakshitha who served us very attentive and helpful.
Finally food. Time taken was acceptable. But there was only one other party was there. Can be delayed if more people are there.
Pork fried rice. Pork stew. Seafood platter. Was good.
Cheese omelette is mouthwatering
Bit spicy.

A gem of a bistro hidden beachside in Rathgama. I sampled their fish on multiple occasions and found it excellent. The Sri Lankan take on fish&chips was a nice non-spicy alternative to the traditional fish platter.
The spot itself is one of the best for many kilometers, especially if you like to get away from thick tourist crowds. On many nights there will be spontaneous live music; they had a local techno DJ on a Saturday afternoon. Stays open late; highly recommended.
Hidden place, nice beach view pool also there . , food quick and big portions. Soup ok . Seafood not fresh. Kids friendly, new clean washroom available . No scallops 😒.

The Scallops- Seafood Restaurant is the ideal place for a quiet getaway or a chilled out weekend with friends.We had an overnight stay in Sea View Tents. Tents were clean & spacious.The staff delivers an exceptional service and the food is delicious as well.
We stayed at the scallops for 1 night in the private room and ate at the restaurant. We had a great afternoon. The owner took us snorkeling and then to the nearby lagoon. Dinner in the evening was tasty, we had the seafood platter. Beautiful and relaxed surroundings on a very quiet beach. A great place to chill out. The other staff were lovely too. Highly recommend.
One of the best beach restaurants in Hikka. Love the food specially the tuna steak. I would recommend them to anyone. Nice place for a gathering or a private party. Know the owner personally and he is a very nice guy. Just try all the food items lol. You can camp there as well.
