Best fish I’ve ever had! and I’m not a big seafood person. Battered sausages are yum. Only thumbs down is the scoops of chips are really small portions one scoop is like a small handful. Reviews looked good experience was not. Unfortunately a lot on the menu wasn’t available such as oysters, mussels, fresh fish and any other fish except frozen hoki, no paua, mussel or any seafood fritters. The hot dogs had a funky taste. The batter was not cooked well or crunchy, and was falling off the food but sticking to the paper Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We come here every Saturday, without fail, and in my opinion have the best fish out here in the Kaiti Area. The Kai here is consistent, which keeps us coming back! We usually love this place and have no problems until one day we got yuck fish, my family couldn’t eat it. The fish was so bad like it was old or something. We ordered our dinner from there tonight which was 2 burgers, a hotdogs and a scoop of chips. The burgers were so dry with nothing but a tiny piece of single lettuce and literally a teaspoon of coleslaw with no blimmen sauce it was disgusting and dry. Best Fish shop in Gisborne. Big portions of quality fish and chips. I love their fish so much meat unlike the other f&c shops around Gizzy. Nice Whanau oriented workplace and friendly service, would recommend!
