Best book in advance. Famous place to eat. Very cute and cosy if you sit outside. I took the sea food platter. In Malta you only get the fish for this price. 24€ with chips and salad. Friendly staff. Overall very nice.
When you visit Gozo, Malta, be sure to take the local transit to Nadur and get off at the village square of St Peter and St Paul. On the backside, east, of the church, you will find Fat Rabbit. I've found it to be the best restaurant in Nadur, with its outstanding food, service, and local atmosphere it is the finest. From traditional Maltese dishes such as roasted rabbit and locally caught octopus, to outstanding steaks, you are going to love it. My personal favorite is Funghi Carbonara. You will be quite pleased at how budget friendly this local eatery is. Hours may vary, check the website or their Facebook page for times. Probably the best restaurant experience of our trip. We came at really busy Sunday evening but everybody in this family run restaurant did their best to get things done. We ordered Gozo Platter, Rabbit Stew and Rabbit Pasta ...and it was unbelievably good. But be aware, portions are extremely huge. Highly recommended Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic outdoor dining experience here. The food was extremely delicious and served in hearty portions. The Italian platter was out of this world, and the side dishes were tasty. The Fat Rabbit in Nadur on the island of Gozo near Malta is a wonderful restaurant just being the main church in the lively square. We hadn’t made a booking but the waiter asked us if we didn’t mind eating in the alley to the side of the restaurant which is miles better than it sounds. The table was good and the waiter quickly brought the menu for us to peruse. I was immediately impressed by the menu itself printed on good quality paper and presented in a hardback folder. One of my favourite dishes is rabbit stew so I was excited to see this on the menu. Prior to the main courses coming we were given a delicious entree of beans and aubergine. The wine and main courses followed without any delay and my main course was without doubt one of the best rabbit stew I have ever tasted. Prices are very reasonable, service was excellent and definitely a good place to visit more than once when in Gozo. Food was out of this world, especially the rabbit. But be warned portion sizes were very generous so we had to get a doggy bag. Even on a Tuesday night in late October it was very full. Maltese Pasta and Stew in piccies Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We love the Fat Rabbit! We live in Nadur, it's our 'local'. Excellent fresh food expertly prepared. Wonderful service and comfortable atmosphere. I'm crazy about the bolognese. Lots of minced beef and perfect red sauce. My partner loves the pork chops - juicy, tender, tastey. Main courses come with sides of seasonal veg and lucious local patatos. Nice wine list and very reasonable prices. Did I mention the bread? Housemade heaven. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very well served, good food, great prices and nice outdoor atmosphere. All the food we had was very good. The pizza is larger than usual and well priced. Octopus and rabbit liver were also very good. Abundance of food and they give you a platter to share on the house. Highly recommended.
