Our first time dining at The Fat Farmer as a group of 5. The service and food was amazing. The concept is all meals are a sharing platter, a nice way to enjoy food and talk amongst friends and family. We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken w Kimchi and mayo, this was so delicious and juicy. Also the Chicken Bao Buns were delicious as well but more meat would take it next level. The Watermelon Salad I didn’t think I would be a fan of, was actually divine, so nice and fresh and all the ingredients went amazing together. One of the best salads I have ever had and definitely the best restaurant salad I have tried. Then our groups most favourite dish, the Angus Beef Steak. The flavours, the textures, this was absolutely divine and we are all still talking about it! Will 100% be coming back and dining at The Fat Farmer Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pork Belly Bao Buns
Three of us came here for dinner a few days ago and it was very good. We hadn’t booked but they found a table for us on the deck which is covered in and very pleasant on a nice evening. We each got a mocktail which were delicious and very aesthetic. We ordered the fries, pork belly bao buns, chicken bao buns and bruschetta which were all great. The menu is sharing style and each dish comes out as it is ready. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I’m sure we’ll be back again! Great vibe, service, and food. We went here for my mums 70th, it was perfect. We were a group of 4 kids under 12 years old and 8 adults. We had a set menu, which was excellent. Mum was able to switch a few dishes around beforehand, so when we arrived, no decisions had to be made, and we could just relax and enjoy the evening. The bao, prawns, and crispy chicken were excellent. The lamb, green vegetables, and chips were a lot of food. We ended up with quite a bit of takeaway. The staff were excellent! Friendly and efficient. The vibe was great. It's a busy place, really comfortable with casual decor, bar / restaurant vibe, loud yet you could easily hear everyone at your own table. I can highly recommend this place! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pork Belly Bao Buns

First time at Fat Farmer last night and it was for my birthday! The atmosphere was amazing, food was delicious (I’ll be dreaming about the goats cheese, lamb, and kale 🤤), and the service was a 10/10. Georgia was a GREAT waitress, and made sure we were happy and was happy to be there. She also did a group photo shoot for us so we had to give her 5 ⭐️. All in all amazing experience with Fat Farmer and I will definitely be back again! Amazing service and great pricing. Really enjoyed steamed bao bun and mashed potato. Signature lamb shoulder was great, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Would come again for the duck roll as many people ordered it XD

This is a great place for a lovely beer and a fantastic meal. The lamb shoulder is a must have. The cauliflower asparagus and couscous were excellent dishes to accompany the lamb. This established would rival the best in any of out big city's without a doubt. I can highly recommend spending some of your time and money at The Fat Farmer.

I didn't know what we were getting into. The meals were either to small (tapas) or too big (shared plates) Me, I would suggest figuring out how to include more people by finding a mid ground between these two. For was really good but it ended up costing more than it should have for a shared plates. We just couldn't eat it all. So much potential here. So much, now just a tweak and your there.
