Monday 19/02/24 Fantastic dinner with the whole family (15 of us). Everyone had something different and it seemed everything was delicious. We shared a Seafood Chowder and a Pork Belly Bahn Mi, Lasagna, Steaks, Lamb’s Fry, Burgers, Salads,… everyone loved it! I went and congratulated the kitchen! I’ve been told by the family that it hasn’t always been this good. Well, tonight they sure did an excellent job. We loved this cute little pub. If you are on the road and looking for a meal you can’t go past it. Indoor and outdoor seating and choice of pub menu or bar menu. Super friendly staff and quick service from the kitchen. We had the ham and pineapple pizza - delicious Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Recommended dishes Pizza

Good range on the menu and all tasty, followed by a good drop. Only gripe I had was I asked for a medium rare steak and got well done, not ideal for spending $40 on this dish alone. I would go back though, the atmosphere is good.

This restaurant was such value for money. The meals were massive and so delicious. This would have to be my new favorite restaurant in Napier and we can't wait to go back there again. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They had lots of people in the restaurant with Christmas functions and they still managed to get our main meals with in 15 mins. We were more than happy with our meals and the overall experience. Thank you The Duke of Gloucester for such an amazing meal.

This is the 2nd time we have eaten here. The food is excellent and plenty of it. My only constructive comment would be to request salad dressing on the side, my Dressing was very spicy, probably chilli, which I don't normally eat. I joined a group of friends here for lunch. It was lovely, and woukd go again. Went for brunch as we were from out of town and all other cafes were pumping (Mission Weekend) The food was great but the service of the young bar girl (had tattoos and a beautiful smile) was outstanding.
