Dinner was exceptional. Surroundings are beautiful, most of the buildings including the walking street are newly renovated. We sat outside with a direct view to the beautiful church. Service personnel was polite and introduced the food offering to us at the beginning. Ambiente is elegant and modern. We went there two times since we liked it a lot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was absolutely amazing experience!!! It is one of those times when guest matters! Garrett took time explaining dishes and suggesting what wine goes along. Loved the taste and atmosphere. Location is great as well. After dinner you can walk down cozy night streets. If you want to indulge yourself and your significant once, you should definitely come here. I will come back again. This is the restaurant associated with the Lure hotel. Great food for breakfast, dinner was good but not quite great. The Maltese desserts are a must, they were very tasty. You can order room service from here but I would suggest an expanded (or different) menu as having lunch to your room from a dinner menu isn't ideal. Some sandwiches would be better. We were here in August 2022. The restaurant is located near very calm street with the view of the cathedral. We tried 3 starters and desert and everything was delicious. Also the waitress was very kind and advised us what to choose. We recommend this restaurant. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

We had a simply outstanding meal at the Core. From start to finish the service, food and attention to detail was superb. Alex and the team are very attentive, friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting is excellent with a relaxed and comfortable outside space looking out onto the historic Mellieha square. The outdoor dining area is really well furnished with a really modern look. We ordered the Burrata to start, the USDA Sirloin and the Duck breast. The quality of the food, the fresh and local ingredients made for high quality dishes. The presentation was just like any high end London or New York restaurant. Modern and elegant. The deserts were just as good, portion sizes were excellent. Our son ate with us (7) and enjoyed his pasta and homemade sauce. He was made to feel welcome by the staff and it added to a great atmosphere for us. The wine list is strong and varied with a great drinks menu that’s supported by a wide array or malts, rum and gin. This is all served from a show stopping gold bar upstairs in the building. If you’re looking for a memorable meal in a great setting, I could not recommend The Core enough.

Great food and great location in the square overlooking the church, with a nice atmosphere with music playing and people exploring Mellieha. We’re staying in the attached Lure hotel and they made it really easy to wander down, service was excellent, and the local wine was tasty too.

A beautiful dining experience, the staff was very smart and knowledgeable of the menu, excellent wine pairing to our food choices the dishes were very well prepared to our preferred taste, portion sizes were abundant. Our expectations were well met. We will definitely be back!
