I ordered the cheese scone and at first they delivered the date scone which was quickly rectified to a cheese scone which at first glance was looking more like a bread. I had to touch it and it had the bread consistency and when I cut it open, it most definitely was bread looking. And to my disappointment, it also tasted like bread. Why do you have to screw around with the classic cheese scone? I was looking forward to it and was really disappointed with what I got. My husband ordered the classic breakfast and he offered me the mushroom since he knows I love mushroom. I got the shock of my life when I tasted the big chunk of mushroom that I had, it was sour. Most definitely just ruin it for the weekend brunch experience. I don’t think I want to come back for breakfast or brunch. For coffee, for sure. Despite the friendly service, it didn’t make up for the disappointing food. What a shame, we had high hopes due to the high Google ratings. Please don’t try and screw up the classic dishes. They’re still around this long for a reason. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

How did I not know about this place before now. Cabinet food is amazing, huge choice of delicious dishes. Then there is a menu also. Hardest thing is having to choose what your going to have. I totally recommend the potato and chorizo for those savory lovers out there. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Recommended dishes Potatoes with Chorizo

This cute wee cafe is attached to a furniture store which is a great way to pass time while waiting for friends you're meeting there. I ordered the chicken salad which was very nice, however the menu specified cherry tomatoes and I recieved large chunks of cut up tomato which I want a fan of. Overall though, a very pleasant experience Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food is better than average (I wouldn't say great but on the whole good) and the staff are very nice. On the other hand the service from order to table is very, very slow. Another reason for the 3 stars is the state of the high chairs. The one that we had, had food hidden away on the folds and as you can see from the picture the straps are in an awful state. And as anyone that has, or has had, kids will know there is a better than average chance that the first thing a child will do when being strapped into something is to try and eat the straps.
The Cooperage has friendly staff and an enjoyable atmosphere. They offer great food for very good value! Three of us enjoyed a meal there today. Their 'Potato Dippers' are delish and they have flavoursome and filling Gluten Free mains.

Had the kiwi breakfast, Mushrooms are sour, seems like they have been drowned in balsamic. Poached eggs were the good part of this and the rest was mediocre. Not worth it for the price Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Had the hot cakes and they were divine. Prompt, friendly service and great coffee Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Hot Cakes

We had booked in advance to bring our mum out for mother's day. When we arrived the table had not been cleared but they seated us anyway and proceeded to clean around us. The table, once cleared, was not reset so we were having to get our own cutlery, glasses and water and menus. We proceeded to the queue to order. We were advised that anything ordered off the menu would take at least 40mins. Thankfully there was a great selection of cabinet food and a specials board for a quick option. Our selections arrived in a timely fashion and the food was actually really tasty and well presented. We created our own atmosphere. The staff, although obviously very busy, were pleasant and friendly. I think a few extra staff would have gone a long way to making the experience a lot more pleasant. Well done though. Had a group breakfast. Meals were large and presentation was lovely. All enjoyed their food. Prices seemed right for the meals. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
