Great bar, with a fantastic choice. Really well priced local beer and spirits, however a nice choice if you if you fancy something different. (well you are on holiday, and Skol is a little tasteless) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unfortunately they do not serve food but if you want to experience true Maltese hospitality you need to visit The Alex Bar, the owner Noel and his wife Maria will make you feel welcome. They serve a wide selection of local and imported drinks and the atmosphere is great. If you like sports Noel is happy to put any aired games on the large screens for you to enjoy and if that is not to your taste there is a nice outdoor area where you can soak up the sun. Price per person €10–15 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had the pleasure of visiting Malta to attend a wedding, but you know me I had to use my downtime to sample a few watering holes. After building up a thirst while having a trek around St Paul’s Bay, I dived into Alex’s Bar to quench that thirst. If you like cheap pints (€3 Cisk) and football scarves you can go wrong here! Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Went in for a pint, had a very good selection and reasonably priced. Also had some ales in the fridge which was a surprise, they were spot on too Price per person €5–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Friendly staff. A wide selection of beers and ciders in the fridges. A bar that seems very popular with the local ex pats. Was very surprised to see Doombar and Hobgoblin Gold on draught

Alex Bar is my local, even though I live closer to many other bars. It's a friendly, quiet place with a great choice of drinks. Their 6-pint cooled dispenser is good value for money as you only pay for 5 pints. Perfect for sharing. Or not!!! Warm inside, lots of seating outside - cosy and pleasant. Would highly recommend as a great little bar. It's nice to go somewhere and be greeted with a smile and get acknowledged with your name. Fantastic!

Great bar always busy, nice atmosphere good beers on draught and cans if you like pub atmosphere is place to go. Would go again nxt time iam in malta. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Probably the freindliest bar in qawra, best prices on drinks, great customer base, terrace, great location, with your hosts Noel and his wife from Rochdale
