By far the best Thai food I ever had. So tasty! I had the fresh ginger stir fried seafood and it was just great. Would definitely recommend that place!

Loved the food here. I've had red curry at different Thai restaurants around NZ but this is hands down the best one I've had!! So creamy and spicy and well balanced. The roti is also delicious.
Went here two nights in a row and would highly recommend this spot if you're in Rotorua. Ample parking outside and lovely atmosphere with friendly staff.

Nice place with atmosphere of Thai. Great family dinner for the Xmas night during our trip in Rotorua. My favorite is the tom yum soup and mango sticky rice. A little bit sweet rather than spicy but overall pretty good. Thanks for the dinner.

We absolutely loved the Thai food here! We tried the fish cakes with sweet and sour sauce appetizer, both the green/red curry with chicken, a mai tai, and a non-alcoholic mango smoothie. Everything was excellent!! Highly recommend!!

It's so delicious! I have never tasted such good Thai food before! I'm not exaggerating a bit, this just opened the doors of Thai food to me 🥰
The curry we ordered was very creamy and spicy to choose from. The most amazing is my dessert - mango sticky rice, the sweetness is just right, with mango sweet and glutinous rice is delicious to explode!

We had a family night out, and we pre booked a table for 10. The service was friendly and efficient. If anything, I think we were the noisy table and indecisive customers, so thank you for your patience. If you have any Vegans with you, you may want to state clearly what your needs are when ordering from the vegetarian section as the rice was cooked with eggs, so it had to be returned. Overall, the food was loved by all, with the exception of one of our males who ordered a steak and stated it was average. The toilets are very clean and well maintained.

I recently dined here and ordered the chicken pad Thai. It was spicy and generally tasty, but it somewhat lacked the depth of flavor I was anticipating. The dish had a nice heat level, yet it could have benefited from a bit more complexity in its seasoning. On a brighter note, the cream cheese wontons were a standout – really good with a delightful crunch and a creamy, savory filling. As for the service, it was decent, though not particularly remarkable. Staff were polite, but the service didn't leave a lasting impression.

Thai Central is consistently one of my go-to options when I'm in the mood for Thai cuisine. The dishes here are generally very flavourful without being overly spicy. I love the 'Traditional Thai Salad Set' and always make it a point to order it every time I dine here.

Food and service both are really amazing. If you are going at dinner time plenty of parking is available outside restaurant. Most of the dishes can be made vegetarian

not the best thai food we have had.but the waitress was nice,quick and attentive. we wanted a thai milk tea but received taro milk tea instead. we did not complain.will probably try thai milk tea next time.had pad thai last time,can be improved in terms of sauce,noodle ratio. had crispy pork today.i prefer that the sauce/gravy served separately,not drizzled on the pork itself. filling meal,with soup,rice,veggies.will be back next time to try other food.
