A fantastic seafood restaurant tucked away in a lovely setting. We ordered 2 lovely starters but the standouts were the mains: - Seabass - Amberjack The amberjack came with smoked clams which were absolutely amazing. I would have happily ordered a plate of just that! The service was brilliant as well which matched the food! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €40–45 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very nice food and amazing setting. The waiter kept forgetting orders and request. But the setting and food made up for these small mistakes! Big recommendations Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50+ Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing service and atmosphere at Terrone. I can understand why they receive praise from the Michelin Guide. The food was amazing as well, I recommend the pasta dishes and the apps. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
After always hearing good things about this restaurant, we decided to dine as a group to celebrate a friend. First and foremost, the menu provided consists of a computer-printed sheet of paper, the prices immediately seem high, and there's even a disclaimer about the pasta dishes stating that the portions are approx. 70g and not sufficient as a main meal. However, the prices range from 14 to 30 euros. The 30 euro risotto, besides being of average quality, was really small, something I've never seen even in tourist destinations like Ibiza, Capri, Portofino, etc (unfortunately I didn’t take a picture). The fritto misto was good, but the 36 euro seafood mix was also nothing special and quite meager (attached photo). The staff doesn't provide an experience and service worthy of the money spent (100 euros), there's no support in choosing wines (we got a very good French white wine but limited selection) and guiding the customer in explaining and selecting the dishes... Furthermore, at 10:30 PM, the staff was getting ready to close when the restaurant was still quite full, which is unheard of in August (peak tourist season)... Not even a gesture to offer a round of digestifs considering the total amount spent and the birthday celebration. Yet another demonstration that in Malta, in general, prices have skyrocketed without guaranteeing quality. Spending 100 euros is not an issue, but the problem lies in providing quality service. I understand that occasional underperformance can happen, but based on the above description, I do not recommend it and do not intend to return (I live in Malta)

If you’re staying in Valletta then I would recommend taking a trip to the twin city Birgu by gondola. It’s a lot of fun and costs only 2 euro per person. This is a beautiful restaurant tucked in Fort St Angelo. We dined for lunch and enjoyed the oysters, cold seafood salad and pizzetta with zucchini and local red shrimp. I can imagine that in the evening this location is even more spectacular with lights shining on the Fort. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €45–50
Lovely and secluded area for a good lunch or dinner. The staff is very helpful. Interesting menu offering a selection of dishes in season. Worth a visit Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Good restaurant- worth a visit but choose dishes carefully. Service is very friendly & helpful but can be a bit slow (Went for lunch and it wasn’t particularly busy) The blue swimmer crab dish was fantastic. Worth the effort to slowly crack the shell and enjoy the delicious crab meat. Sauce is also delicious. The grilled octopus I didn’t enjoy. It seemed slimy and the bed of purée underneath didn’t help. Was cooked nicely but a bit rubbery. Can’t recommend this dish at all. The twice cooked potatoes should have been nice and crispy but they were soft and oily sadly. The Maltese sparkling wine is fantastic as was the San Niklaw wine. All is all, definitely worth a visit but choose your dishes carefully.
