This small bar is a must visit if you're on Holbox! We did the tequila tasting which was a great experience and we learnt a lot about the history of tequila, how to taste it and what to look for when buying it. The margaritas were top tier as well 👌

My experience at Tequila O'clock in Holbox was absolutely fantastic! Mauro and Erika were incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, making our visit truly memorable. From the moment we stepped in, their warm hospitality set the tone for a remarkable tequila journey.
The drinks served were nothing short of perfection. Each sip was a flavorful adventure, showcasing the expertise and passion that goes into crafting every concoction. But what truly stood out was Mauro's dedication to ensuring we didn't just enjoy the drinks at the moment, but that we could recreate them at home. His willingness to share insights and techniques was incredibly generous and added immense value to our experience.

Cute, cozy bar with wonderful hosts Erica and Mauro. We did the tequila tasting along with an additional cocktail in a clay mug. If you're already familiar with fine tequila, I'd recommend the flights over the tasting.

Awesome experience for a person who doesn't love Tequila and I walked away with a greater interest in trying more. They did a good job sharing the differences and letting you smell and taste the differences in each. Exceptional margarita! I would highly recommend it but not a low cost option for the tasting. It is vacation so who cares! :-)

Really lovely tequila tasting experience. Gave a wonderful insight into the process of making tequila, the harvesting of the agave, aging, and the different varieties...
The bar has a lovely vibe and the welcome Margarita was *****.
It's a little off the main drag but well worth searching it out. Supporting small businesses has never been more important.
Go... you won't be disappointed!

This is SUCH a fabulous tequila-tasting experience! Our group of seven enjoyed learning about the tequila-making process, and trying some delicious treats. We left with a few new favorites! Erica and her team are knowledgeable, fun, and a great way to spend about an hour. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed tequila tasting, learnt all about tequila, and got insider tips on what to look for on labels when buying a bottle! Would really recommend doing the tasting here. It was super relaxed, and the cocktails were great too. Mauro was a great host - thank you!

OUTSTANDING classic Margaritas. In my personal beliefs if they can make a “simple”/classic drink so good, there are no limits what they’re capable of to achieve while offering a tequila tasting and all the knowledge you can get from it…. Written by someone that likes mezcal better than Tequila.

This is the best kept secret in Holbox. I randomly found it while searching google maps and glad I did.
Upon walking in, Erica and Marlo were so welcoming to my wife and I. Marlo made my wife the best mocktail either of us have tried. Then they proceeded to give us a heck of an education on tequila as I did the tasting.
We ended up coming back the next night and once again, my wife got an amazing mocktail while I got the two best margaritas I've had on the island.
Tell everyone you know to check this place out and none of them will be disappointed.

This place is amazing, and Erica and Mauro are wonderful people!
It’s one of the best tequila bars anywhere that you can go to if you want to taste and learn about proper, well-made tequila. They also (according to my wife) make incredible cocktails. It was recommended by our dinner server at Luuma when she realized that we liked tequila.
Erica is from Jalisco and used to work in the industry. I went there with my wife and a friend, and we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves and got a proper education. My friend and I tasted about 6 or 7 different tequilas, and my wife had cocktails.
I have a tequila collection of about 80-90 bottles at home, but was still able to sample hard-to-find ones I have been wanting to try.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough!
