I’m so sad I never took photos of the tacos we had here, but I did capture my pozole and al pastor on the spit. Ya’ll, this place is INSANELY good, and you’ll know bc you’re gonna be the only American there. This is a LOCALS spot and trust me when I say it’s super yummy. We had plans to come here just one but ended up there twice. They serve pozole only on Thursday and Saturday; and they have menudo only on Sunday. Their tacos are soooo tasty and pretty cheap. We fed a family of nine (6 adults, 2 teens that eat a lot and an 8-year old child) for just $90 USD.
Service was very friendly and fast! I would highly recommend this place.

Staying for one month in the hotel zone, we have been very disappointed with the overpriced and inauthentic restaurants nearby. Fortunately while walking to the Mercado, we discovered the open-air, open grill Taquería El Fogón under a thatched palapa roof. On Thursdays and Saturdays, the friendly staff serves delicious pozoles, both red and white, accompanied by any insane variety of condiments as shown in my photo. We also really enjoyed their vampiros, gringas, tacos arracheras, and alambre hawaiiana, all of which are available every day. The big menu has other very tempting choices like queso fundido.

Wonderful spot for a few quick tacos — their specialty is al pastor. Service is friendly and quick, and the portions are generous. Would highly recommend!

If you get the chance to explore San Jose del Cabo outside of the resorts, do yourself a favour and visit this place. I went there every day and it was mostly locals who were eating, great pricing and service.
Brush up on your Spanish, there is no English menu or English speaking service (at least when I was there)

Best tacos in San Jose del Cabo in my opinion. Try the Vampiros.
No beer, just sodas.

Great little authentic street taco joint. Menu nice and big on the wall with 7 or 8 different taco choices, burritos, quesadilla, all the works. But NO cerveza! I enjoy an old fashioned coke. But dang I could use a beer with a taco! Still tacos were great, I had the al pastor and volcano. Both were above average. Very well priced ($6) for 3 good sized tacos.

Ok ok , if you are staying at the resorts … don’t go to the restaurants in front come here …. Way better tasting food - this feels like Mexico. Just delicious highly recommend. Took me 3 days to find a good spot besides seafood but man this was really good .
Affordable and delicious! Food was fast and service was great. We were visiting the area on vacation, and this was a good local place for tacos.

Not fancy in any way, but the food is good. Off the tourist path, and customers are always locals. Service is excellent.
A solid basic taco restaurant. Food quality is good, and I highly recommend the tacos Al Pastor.

We have been coming to los Cabos for years and we always know this place has great tacos. On this trip we tried a big dish (name had “Hawaii” in it) with pineapple 😋but it was more than enough for 2 if not more, very tasty. Free parking in the back which is a plus 👍.
