Not an avarege Rice’n’Curry place. Been here for more than 10times within few years. Everytime we travelling around we stop for great dinner, good atmosphere and nice talks with staff.
Also recommend to order sea food dinner and lobster, which is accompanied with rice n curry buffet free of charge.
Everytime they serve great dessert after huge and tasty dinner. 😍
If you like, the owner and all the staff allows you to come to kitchen and teach you how to prepare Sri Lankan seafood which you have ordered.
Ofcourse not the cheapest rice n curry in the city, but this is restaurant where you want to hang out with family and friends or with you business partner.
Prices are affordable for travellers.
Servise is outstanding 10/10.

Through a recommendation we discovered this restaurant. One sitting, starting with a demonstration of spices and sauces used. An outstanding selection of dishes all set out for us to try. Also a dessert. Great tastes and happy to answer questions. Excellent value.
Difficult to find though! No sign outside the house. Ample parking space in the private driveway.

Had a wonderful dinner! The service was amazing and the venue is beautiful and has a really nice relaxing vibe!They take you through a mini demo of how food is prepared! Loads of different dishes to eat and you can go back for more as it is a buffet! They had crab curry that night and it was delicious!! The staff were excellent even made a birthday cake for my partners bday! Highly recommend and would love to come back again!!

Crab Curry
This place serves the best vegetable curry buffet! There are about 20 tasty dishes to choose from with so many different flavours and textures. Most of the curries are vegetarian with some seafood options. You also get a dessert which consists of a delicious pancake with ice cream. There's no fixed price, you pay what you want.
The staff is very kind and the interior design is also very stylish. Highly recommend!

Great local food experience in this outstanding restaurant. Their recipe for succes is to share the local cuisine through a short cooking class and there invite you to an open buffet.
The dishes are delicious and mainly vegetarian (there was only one calamari dish that you can skip if you don't eat fish). I loved most of their choices. Already, the rice was delicious, so any extra curry was only improving the experience.
They offer beers and cocktails too.
There is a fixed price per person (3k rupees) for the food plus extra for the drinks. There is also a surprise desert at the end.

We stopped by on my birthday to find it unexpectedly shut but Dilan the owner asked us back the next night and even sourced for us fresh lagoon mud crab and we watched his chef prepare a delicious crab curry in a clay pot on a traditional wood fire. The result was outstanding. A meal to remember for sure. As an aside: Dilan a wonderful host and friendly source of information and helpful contacts. He can also arrange travel and tours. Love that place.
Incredible food, some of the best I’ve tasted in Sri Lanka. Really nice, friendly staff and great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.
