I had the fish and titanic burgers from here. I’ve never been so happy while eating a burger. Fish tastes so fresh and the size of the burger was massive which I very much liked. The burgers costed around $12 to $10 bucks but I would’ve gladly paid $20 for it. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Recently changed ownership. Sadly the quality & quantity of the food has greatly diminished. Brought 2 beef burgers and chips. Price had increased a lot but that was to be expected. Unfortunately the quality was shocking. Tiny leaf of lettuce, tiny thin piece of tomato & half a slice of beetroot was all the salad in the burgers. The smallest portion of chips you’ve ever seen accompanied it. This after a recent documentary showing the previous owners dishing out the biggest portions of chips in the country. Highly disappointed. We use to be regulars there but we will never go back again now. Moerewa Chip shop is dead. RIP 🫤😞

Tiki takeaways have the tastiest burgers, the crispies chips, the BEST snapper and chips I have found, and yummy potato fritters. Great food, and very friendly service. The best in the Bay of Islands! Stop and have some on your way through.

Central Moerewa by pedestrian crossing. Adjacent and nearby level roadside carparking. Moerewa CBD 🙂 Full size fish lightly coated batter. (So many places call a 'fish pattie' or 4cm by 6cm piece of fish, triple-battered a deal.) Here you'll enjoy a good-sized fillet delicately prepared for true taste yummy fish. Range of fish to choose from. 👍 Great range of deep fried foods, burgers and the traditional range of drinks from the fridge. Limited 'Chinese' menu. Some seating and plenty of standing room while you wait. Some reading material. Not a cafe or a restaurant. Great for the classic kiwi takeaway 'fish and chips' with 'package meal deals' on whyteboard.

Had the island food today was let down from the dry taro with no coconut cream & standard chop suey ,chicken curry wasn't that great ..bit of love in island food is what's missing Service Take out
