A lovely little hole in the wall place for tourists and locals alike. The service can take it's own time but the wait ended up being worth it. The Mombasa Mix, the Passion Fruit Juice was my favorite. The Daar Bhajias, the Paneer and the Maaru Bhajias were great too. It was absolutely worth the hour I spent here on a hot afternoon.

This place is really good. This one and Karen blixen are the only places around here with good service and really good fresh food. We came here twice and the second time the waitress mixed up our order a bit but nothing extreme. There's a lot to choose from and everything we tried was really tasty and fresh.

Wow! The place may not look upscale but boy does it make up for that with tantalisingly good indian/pakistani food.
First of all the masala chips was to die for - super delicious!
The mix grill was also pretty good but missing lamb chops.
The side sauces also got a lot of compliments.
Overall had a great dinner.

visited last month and ordered two beef burgers. the waitress brought us one beef burger and one chicken burger, which could have been an honest mistake so we made her aware of it. she said no I brought 2 beef burgers so we’re like okay maybe the chef made a mistake and to ask him? she left and came back and said no it’s beef. I showed her the difference in our burgers and she tried to say maybe his was just cooked a little longer 🤣 I looked at my husband in disbelief because why was she gaslighting me? it looked like chicken it tasted like chicken it WAS chicken and she just stood there blatantly lying. complained to the cashier who just apologized, but overall horrible service

A friendly family place.
Expanded space and even better taste.
The place gets more and more loyal fans.
No wonder, the food is great, fresh and affordable, the team makes you feel like family and everything is clean.
When I walked in, the place was totally empty. Soon after it was packed but the waiters were still on point.
Once the server saw us, he instantly came over with a smile. The service was outstanding!
And the food! It smells incredible and the taste is very, very good.
I ordered a mixed platter, it was served on a sizzling hot plate and the meat was super tasty. Especially the tandoor chicken.
The prices are very friendly, and portions are amazing.
Definitely give this place a try.

Came here whilst holidaying in Malindi.
Service was pretty poor, the staff were all sitting together when we arrived and nobody even stood up so we found our own table. I had the boneless chicken curry which was pretty good, unfortunately the naan it comes with is terrible and likely out of packet, not like the photo they use. My partner had the paneer curry which was pretty poor. It was pretty cheap but not a great dinning experience.

Very rude. Very bad customer service. Very rude receptionist was not able to order, because the person at the reception didn't want to take our order and kept hanging up on us.
We have recorded phone call about this and we can share it with the management needed.
If you cant employ people who know and understand their work, then there's no need to have such rude workers.

Chicken Tikka with Fries
Taheri is not your ordinary fast food restaurant. This Indian owned restaurant provides both fast foods and food food(haha). Am talking the nice biryani ,pilau and a whole lot more.
Luckily we were on time before closing hours and they were kind to let us extend. The service is top notch and despite us being the very last clients, the food was fresh.
Loved the images on the walls, the interior décor multiple ways of payment.
They have the best seafood dishes in town. Had the fish and it was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Bbq chicken and chili fries were the only food that was really any good. If you here this would be the safest bet.
Biriyani was bland and lacked basic salt chily seasoning
Fried fish was an overfried batterless piece of fillet
Burger Patty was fried in oil, hard and served completely raw inside.
Customer service was zero on complaining. This place needs to take a hard look at what they are serving and how easy it is to improve (basic web tutorials)
Way too any items in the menu and all just slapped together without any control of spice or flavour.
Overall a big dissapointment.
PS: did I mention service is so slow you need to have over an hour if you plan to be eating here. Cause that's how long the burgers took to be served.
