This was our last meal in Malta- we had such great experiences until we ate here. The service was not friendly, no smiles and hardly acknowledged we were there. The set menu for 25€ seemed like a good idea but the fish soup and the rabbit tasted like it was cooked in the same sauce- acidic and Tomato based. Hardly any fish in the soup and I had far better rabbit everywhere else in Malta. The potatoes y vegetables on the side were cold and not great at all. The wine we ordered wasn’t very good and we weren’t offered any guidance on the choice. We had to ask for bread with our soup and when the waiter brought it he basically threw it on my other plate causing them both to go off balance without an apology or anything. The restaurant was pretty empty but the others we wanted to go to were full. I understand why. Our fault for not making a reservation elsewhere. I recommend saving your money and visiting another place. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €35–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Booked here for a solo meal, I was one of about 8 diners so there was no necessity to book. The set meal for €25 was good and enough to experience the Maltese cuisine. They have cisk on draft and lots of Maltese red and white wines. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €35–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Maltese Fish Soup

really nice food!! we tried several maltese specialities, the fish stew, bragioli / rabbit with potato, and chocolate cake to end with cactus liqueur… wine pairing a red from marsakkolok. no complaints only that we were seated by the door and this i was really cold. also the food may have been a little too much… i made two reservations on consecutive nights (they were full on NYE, no surprise) so i’m glad i got to try it before leaving malta. The main portion of the squid and mussel linguine was large! The taste was bland though and needed a lot of black pepper to spice it up. The seafood was ok but didn't feel the freshest. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €15–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The rabbit and dessert were very good, but the wait time for our appetizers and main courses was a bit long, and we also had to wait for a while when we first asked for the menu. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Dessert

Inexperienced but at least enthusiastic staff. We ordered rabbit, which was fantastic, aljotta was also top quality. Linguine with frutti di mare however had too few salsa, would have needed more. Snails was also very delicious. Overall recommended place, quakity presentation of traditional Maltese kitchen in a central location. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We were looking for a dinner place and randomly passing by this restaurant, and it turns out a surprise for us. There are plenty of selections. 2 set menu, 25€ and 30€. My friends and I ordered 25€ set menu, including starter, main dish, dessert and coffee. We had rabbit and fish as main dish. Seafood and salad as a starter. The menu also includes stir-fried vegetables and a slice of bread that we didn't expect, so we feel so satisfied! We also would love to try snails which was delicious. Food is overall good and decent. We feel like having french cuisine. Set by set and you will have a good time with a glass of wine to have a conversation with friends or family. Highly recommended rabbit, snails and salad. We were amazed by their wonderful service. Every waitress and waiter wore lovely smiles on their faces. You really feel caring and we all had a great time. Thank you all! The only thing is that we don’t use to have a cup of coffee at dinner time, and we asked for water as an alternative, but it’s not possible unfortunately. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–35
A very cozy place with good food. The Maltese platter was super delicious! Especially the bigilla, the fava beans patè! I only wish the waiters were more prepared and not coming out from nowhere saying “I don’t know this dish…I’m not from here”. But cozy, nice, simple place! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Better avoid... We saw this restaurant in a plane brochure, went in with doubts and.... all doubts confirmed. The food was average and what made the experience 2/5 was that it was horribly overpriced: 9 EUR for a fish soup with 2 mussels, 19 EUR for a wanna be local fish - fried (seriously?) and instead of a fresh lampuki the fish tasted like frozen macrele. Top of the top was the toilet experience - male under water, thus took the ladies and got a disco light experience for free (broken bulb).... The two ladies serving were at least nice but that is too little tbh.... No, sorry to say, this was not it....
