We were one week in Malta and Gozo and here, at Ta Karolina, we ate our all time favorite antipasti.

Never disappointed with this restaurant! Loved the grilled calamari! nice atmosphere with lovely view on the bay. Best seafood restaurant in xlendi but also offers good meat option. Portions are very generous and prices reasonable! Best to book in advance.

Cenamos en este restaurante dos amigas y la verdad es que nos gustó muchísimo!
La carta es muy variada y los platos que pedimos fueron un total acierto; estaba todo riquísimo y la cantidad era suficiente. La calidad-precio del restaurante muy bien.
El servicio fue bueno, aunque al tener casi la última mesa del paseo, a veces tardaban en venir a atendernos.
Es un sitio muy bonito pero las mesas son pequeñas y están literalmente en el borde del mar, por lo que no aconsejaría ir con niños, ya que puede ser peligroso.

We had a fantastic experience dining at Ta’ Karolina! The complementary bruschetta and limoncello made the experience even more enjoyable! The home made ravioli and the mushroom ravioli were delicious, salt and pepper calamari was also the best we’ve had!! Portion sizes were very reasonable, we didn’t leave hungry that’s for sure! Our favourite dining experience in Malta/Gozo so far! Would love to come back one day and will recommend to all the aussies back home 🇦🇺 thank you!

Great food. We went to the risotto, the pasta with mussels, pizza and the traditional ravioli. Loved it all and you have an excellent view of the little bay. Remember to book a table.

This place was recommended to us by a friend… very good restaurant, wine and food were great… staff was very attentive and took care of us… nice seating on the cliff, it’s cozy. We had the fried calamari platter, and Gozo antipasti platter, a focaccia, and a seafood spaghetti. They also bring some nice complimentary appetizers as well as a great limoncello at the end! The portions were huge in my opinion… we shared all of this between two people and it was too much… the seafood spaghetti full portion is definitely enough for two, and compared to other places we’ve been, there’s a lot of fish in it! It’s also really well made, excellent flavours. Must try this place! Better reserve… we didn’t but were very lucky.

Massive disappointment! I go to such places to relax, instead I end up with a waitress who confuse starters with main courses not only this but with an attitude and rolling eyes because the order was too complicated and out of her capacity of comprehension apparently. It’s easy choice to never consider nor recommend this place to anyone! It’s simply bunch of people who obviously focused on their loyal clients who can accept their nonsense , but if you expect good service just forget about it, there are many other places where really you can enjoy your time!
