Sushi Ten Bento is for sure the restaurant in Puno with the best (and problably the only one with) international standard. The sushi has a very good taste and is freshly prepared. Also only local ingredients (trout) are used for the sushi. We have been here twice during our stay in Puno. We came here for dinner for our first night in Puno and this was some of the best food we have had in Peru. We had the Miso (vegan) a couple of different vegetarian rolls and an avocado rice bowl. The service was excellent, the attention to detail in everything from the restaurant decor to the way the table was set was perfect. Highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Puno! Delicious and authentic Japanese food! The location is one block away from the Cathedral, so an easy walk from city center. The location is very spacious and the customer service and food quality was excellent. We order the gyoza which was perfectly crispy and the Philadelphia roll with smoked salmon and cream cheese (a must try). We also had the miso ramen that comes with ground meat, corn, seaweed, and a delicious seasoned egg, I added a little extra soy sauce on mine since I prefer my food on the saltier side. I asked for my ramen to come extra spicy and it was perfect! We finished off with the 3 flavor ice cream, yum! Food came out rather quickly, which was a surprise since we are used to long wait times in Peru.

I was looking for something hot to have for dinner because it’s still chilly in November in Puno, and the soup of shoyu ramen was great! Very tasty and also pretty Japanese style. Btw, the chief is a Japanese so it’s a authentic Japanese restaurant!
