Cozy but upbeat bistro/ bar with good foods and decent cocktails! All the foods were well presented and executed. Everything tasted good though missing a bit of zing here and there. Our favorites were octopus carpaccio and pork belly. Really enjoyed the sharing style dishes with drinks. What I liked the most about this bistro was the list of wine/beer. Their selection of mostly local winery/breweries were right on….excellent choices! Booked through first table app. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $40–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

It’s a small, but great place for good food and drinks. The atmosphere is casual, but the food has amazing flavour and is thoughtfully constructed and presented. We shared the octopus, squid, bone marrow, gnocchi, pork belly and after eight dessert and everything was spot on. To add to the evening, we were seated right beside the kitchen and were able to see all of the dishes being put together. I would absolutely go back to try the rest of the menu and I hope that they continue to add new dishes and try new concepts. If you want to go out for a drink before or after your food, head to one of the breweries nearby or go get some cocktails fr Odd Society Spirits. This place is out of this world good. The reviews talk about the cocktails (which are incredible) but totally under-sell the food. 1000/10 for quality, taste, texture, flavours. Impeccable. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The staff were nice and friendly here. We, 2 adults and 2 kids, ordered five dishes and one dessert for sharing. Food was delicious with some exotic elements in it. Korean Beef Heart Tartare tasted yummy and the presentation of food was pretty. Shrimp Toast had green papaya salad which was fresh and tasted so good. My favorite was Beef Brisket, oh my goodness, it was so tasty and mouth watering. I shall recommend this restaurant to my friends. Who else loves bone marrow as much as we do? We had so much fun here catching up with some friends. Between four of us, we got some cocktails, seven dinner items, and two desserts. Loved everything! The bone marrow was such a hit that we ordered two of them and got a brandy luge for each of us as well. It was super fun and definitely a highlight. The scallops mac and cheese was sooooooooo delicious. Instead of the traditional macaroni, they used scallops as substitute. For the dessert, we had the sweet corn panna cotta, my favourite of the night with the flavour and creaminess. We also got the hoof wing and fin mille feuille. This was very interesting as it was more a savoury than a sweet with the chicken liver mousse, fish sauce caramel, and duck fat icing sugar. Highly recommend it if you are not into sweets. Throughout the dinner, I felt welcomed and enjoyed the vibe. Service was impeccable! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sweet Corn Panna Cotta

Great food and great service. Our favourite dish was the beef. The only dish I didn’t like was the sweetbreads. Everything else was delicious.
Inventive dishes and unusual ingredients. Adored the scallop spaetzle. There was a variety of novel experiences across the dishes we tried: eggplant parm as finger food, making a noodle dish out of scallop (spatzle), crunching into escamoles (ant larvae) over a salsa verde risotto, making a cocktail luge from the bone marrow, and figuring out how to feel when dessert is created from duck fat / chicken liver mousse / fish sauce. They participate in FirstTable, if you want to shave the cost of the food items by 50%. Will happily return for another dining adventure. Highly recommend if you want to have a great time eating out. Their food is top notch, and their service is above and beyond! We ordered 6 dishes among 3 of us and the portion was just right. I highly recommend the beef brisket with escamoles. My partner makes amazing brisket already, but this one tops his version with the taste, texture, and sides made perfectly. The only thing is when I came home, I finally realized what escamoles is (ant larvae). So it's for adventurous eater only! Services was also top of the game. They interacted with our little one, offered kids meal, joked with us and replied all our questions with thorough answers and patience. We definitely left feeling 200% happier! This restaurant definitely stands out when it comes to their concept, prepared dishes, attention to detail, and flavor pallet! While their concept is share plates, you can definitely eat plates on your own. While some portions can be salt heavy, everything still tasted amazing and definitely had my chef brain wanting to try new concepts in my own kitchen. Unfortunately, they don't pay as much attention to empty drinks or bring you the bill or a way to pay it in a timely fashion. But with that said, it's a small price to pay (service wise) for amazing and different food!
