Very cute place! The soft serve tasted fresh and the butter scotch sauce was delicious. The place had multiple board games and many different places to sit down. Would recommend going in to have a snack since it was made so quick :)

OMG ... just had the most amazing dessert experience I've ever had!! Seriously good Brownie combination with berry compote, a toasted marshmallow, choc sauce and beautiful soft serve. Please don't visit Methven without trying the delicious, handmade treasures from this hidden gem.

Delicious soft serve, one of the best we've had. Super creamy and flavorful but not overly sweet. It also has different toppings to make amazing sundaes. We took a detour to come here and it was well worth it!

So glad we found this cozy little spot! The sticky date pud with a hint of ginger and Whittakers hot chocolate really hit the spot after a day on the mountain! The soft serve ice cream is also one of the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back when we’re next in Methven. Absolutely delicious perfection 😍

What an absolute gem of a find!!! Without question, Something Delicious in Methven is worth stopping in if travelling to or from Mt. Hutt, visiting the hot pools or staying in Methven. We visited twice over the weekend and on both occasions the desserts were truly divine. We got chatting with the owner who is a chef and makes the desserts himself. The flavours danced across our palate. We ordered from the special menu ‘half baked’ which was a mouth watering homemade cookie and cinnamon toast crunch with ice cream and a caramel like sauce. Will absolutely visit again.

Paid a visit to grab an ice cream on a beautiful hot summer day, and received a lovely soft scoop vanilla cup with chocolate sauce. Friendly service made it a very worthwhile experience. Will call again!

We have been back multiple times now! Jon is absolutely amazing, so friendly and makes hands down the best desserts I’ve ever had! - highly recommend 10/10. You have try if you are in Methven ☺️

Fabulous dessert and ice-creams. Got the gooey choc cookie dough with ice cream and caramel plus a sherbet covered ice-cream cone with so much sherbet on it 😆 Very decent delicious and loved the atmosphere with couches and games.

Lovely atmosphere, the owner was rather personable. He gave us suggestions & even a few taste tests. He was very hospitable & would definitely recommend. Good venue with good boards games
