Nice place for takeaway. Friendly staff and good service. Had 2hokis and kumara chips. Find it a tad oily but it's only our preferences! Still really tasty and enjoyable with a sea view! The place has a parking spot and plenty of seats if willing to dine in. They have a little garden growing around and a view to enjoy! Service Take out Meal type Dinner

Got take away from here because it was the highest rated near Paihia. We ordered the snapper fillets, which were nice, but very small - I’d expect more for $11 each. The hot dogs came pre-covered in ketchup, so they were stuck to the bag. One of my kids doesn’t like ketchup - thankfully she didn’t mind. When ordering “chunky cut” fries I naively expected house made, rather than frozen. So many NZ chippies like this let themselves down with frozen chips. They were nicely cooked and seasoned, and were as “ok” as frozen chips can be. The ladies on the counter seemed friendly. I rated it so low because I had such high expectations. Ordered off the website menu, got charged considerably more and didn't realise until we got home. Rang them and found out their online menu is priced incorrectly and they hadnt had time to update it... Food was good but portions etc were no where near worth what we paid. Highly disappointed at their prices. Good food though so thats a positive. Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chips

The best fish and chips in the area. It's easy to mistake these burgers for the kind you'll find in an upmarket Auckland burger joint! You can't go wrong with this family owned/operated chippie.
The food here was pretty good. It was a bit of a wait, but I guess that's a sign that people like to eat there - and to be honest, a long wait is kind of the norm in Paihia on a nice summer day between Christmas and New Years.
Mussel fritters were soggy and undercooked — not easy to eat. Snapper was good but also not the freshest around. However, the kumara fries were AMAZING — 10/10 on the chips. Everything else was pretty mediocre. Friendly service.
I was told to come here for a wicked burger...Im glad I did because I found my new all time favorite burger...I had a chicken, bacon and mushroom which was frkn awesome! I cant wait to try another one tomorrow! It was so big and juicy it was hard to eat!

Smallest piece of Hoki I've ever had. It was nice though but didn't warrant the price for the size Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $60–70 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Had the chicken burger in the past which was great but they have switched it out for store bought, chicken patties and smaller buns. Fries were cold with a 2 minute drive home. Hot dogs also seemed to have minimal batter. Spent over $50 and feel like we could do better, even with the current price increases at the supermarket. If you are going to change your ingredients to cheaper ones then change your prices. I'd rather pay more to have the same or better quality, not cheaper and worse. Food: 1

Wow, what a great little restaurant for takeaways! Literally the best fried chicken I‘ve ever had and delicious hoki fish and chips! The owners are extremely friendly, always smiling and in a good mood. We simply loved this place!
