The Harry Potter theme they used was unexpected, super interesting, and entertaining. Their food was excellent. the steak cooked just right, and the chicken was tasty. We loved the complimentary breads, soft and fluffy. The service was super tentative. The manager on roller skates was a blast and made us feel very welcomed.

Going by the name Skol, I thought this would be a good place for a beer and something to eat. Upon being seated, I realized I was in the midst of a Harry Potter film set. That gave me a good chuckle. The service was OK. But the food was bad. I ordered pork ribs with BBQ sauce. The ribs were tough and, in some parts, hard meat. There is nothing falling of the bone here. There are so many other good places in town for a great meal.

Unexpectedly found this place while looking for dinner and we were stunned by the great atmosphere and friendly service. Harry potter theme was a welcome surprise. It is clear the establishment is a much loved passion project.
Food and drinks were excellent and good prices for large portions.

The food was excellent and surprisingly not overpriced like all tourist destinations nearby. The manager came over and introduced himself and gave a small background of the place. There are four air bnb suites upstairs. One for each house and the themes that go along with them. There is a small shop next door which is actually the exit and is accessed through a trap door. Great experience and family friendly. Make sure to call for a reservation.

10/10. What an amazing place to get lost for a few hours while exploring the other magic Valladolid has to offer. Papadzul was wonderful.
The best happy hour in town, and it happens to be at a time when people actually want to drink. 9pm - 12am, 2-for-1 drinks, and it includes their fun-yet-potent house cocktails inspired by a certain boy wizard as well as most liquors.
The back area is a lovely outdoor garden space, lush and roomy with comfortable tables, whimsical murals, and a center green space.
The front room has a more intimate pub-vibe, and would be a great space for a few mates to experience a hell of a happy hour.
Sköl is a great place to get a unique experience without losing that signature Yucateca hospitality.

One of our most memorable restaurants on our 2 week Mexico vacation. We got a free dinner by showing our wristbands from staying at the airbnb at Hacienda Oxman after our private soak at their Cenote.
Dinner came with breadsticks shaped like Harry Potter wands. We got Root Beer with whipped cream on top and 2 pasta dishes with dinner rolls. The ambiance was the best part! Lots of Harry Potter themed murals and paintings. There is a glass case with Harry Potter memorabilia by the entrance. Great service! I have nut allergies and the server made sure to let the chef know.
Would love to come back here with kids. Seems like a great place for a kids birthday!

Really cool harry Potter themed bar. The drinks are regular drinks you'd order at a bar but renamed to Harry Potter themed. I got the chicken, potatoes and salad and was expecting to get something quite basic but was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was!

This restaurant is definitely worth visiting while in Valladolid. They cleverly decorated with a Harry Potter theme, the pasta was good and so were the drinks. You can take cool pictures in Happy Potter costumes and backgrounds and exit through a secret door that leads to an adjacent theme store. It's cool to see these kind of places in a smallish town in Yucatán. Great job!

4 star rating for the obvious passion for Harry Potter and Hogwarts school of Wizardry 🪄 the service was great and the menu was fun and true to the theme.
However, the music was quite loud and didn't match the vibe of the place. We had pasta and a pizza. The pasta was absolutely fine but the pizza was really not that good at all unfortunately... 😐
Overall a fun place and great place for a drink or 5.
