This place does NOT accept credit cards and does not warn the customer before ordering. When I mentioned this to the waiters, the answer was: we can't tell every customer that comes in. I can't believe it! Such an attitude can only be described as poor customer service! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

This is a great beach restaurant. The service is quick, welcoming and knowledgable as well as quick with a laugh. The drinks and food arrives quickly. They have table side order and service, but you can also order via a website (via QR code on table). The wrap lahmacun was excellent. Plenty of choices to drink. Negative part is that people are still allowed to smoke outside, that’s why I removed one star. If you’re on Ameland this is the beach to go to. You can feel that the staff is proud of being the best beach restaurant in the Netherlands - and the whole place delivers. Food is excellent, I'm inclined to say that the portions could be bigger, but then I guess with inflation it's fair again. Great place for a drink on the seaside. Wide selection of starters and beers. Got the bitterballen “of the chef” which did not disappoint. Service is fast and friendly.

Nice view but taste is so so. But I loved sea view. And we can order and pay online by using QR code link on the table.

As with all food places, you are asked to order with your phone via the QR code on your table. That's easy with Google Lens or any camera app that has a Google Lens button. You can still ask for a real human too, though. They'll place your order on another table and you have to place it on your table yourself. Thats how things work these days. What's else, this is a beautiful restaurant at a nice place on the beach. Of course it's a bit pricey but we expected just a little bit more of our lunch.

Love this place. Simple is one of the best places I had ever been. Air, sun and water are stunning. Also food is so good. I had nice salmon tortillas, and my boyfriend burger. My tortillas was so fresh and good. Coffee is also so tasty. Price are normal and view is beautiful.
