Lovely little homestay with only 2 rooms, aside from the main house so you have some privacy. Simple, clean rooms with a remote-controlled fan and large bathrooms. In front of the rooms is a little patio in the garden. The young owner is very attentive and a great cook. There’s a small restaurant on a beautiful terrace. As his father is a fisherman, you should really try the grilled fish. Also best kotu of Sri Lanka, with good fresh vegetables. Very close to the beach but not on the main road so it’s nice and quiet. Great value for this price, it was so good I returned and I hope to come back soon.

Amazing family-run homestay. Great value for money. Rooms were clean and comfy. The family was so welcoming, friendly and helpful, and we really felt part of the family. Fantastic location - a minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the town. We also ate at their restaurant multiple times as it was delicious and great value... rice and curry, kottu, Sri Lankan omelettes, Sri Lankan breakfasts, etc. Lovely home cooked food, and even surprised us with dessert!||||Definitely recommend this place to stay and their restaurant for their food!

My husband and I had the pleasure of eating in this restaurant during our stay in Tangalle and can’t recommend it highly enough. It is true home cooked Sri Lankan food with the kindest family behind the food. The dishes may take a little longer to come out because each and every dish is made from scratch, to order, but it is beyond worth the wait. The curries are to die for and the prawn Curry especially amazing. We will go back again tonight :) Don't miss this place on your visit to Tangalle!!

Where should I begin? FANTASTIC experience. This restaurant is run by an adorable family. Food is absolutely delicious and generous. We ate here once, and then twice, and finally all the time we spent in Tangalle. Food is very tasty, espacially the fish, and after two weeks in Sri Lanka, I can say this is the best restaurant I tried. Price are very affordable, and the family is really nice. They afforded free desert each time we went there. I could only recommand this restaurant.

Wish I could give this place more stars. The owner is a young guy making something of himself. Going to uni and running this fabulous restaurant, a legit entrepreneur. The food is honestly delicious enough to come here consecutive nights for dinner. (We ended up eating here for 6 out of the 10 nights that we had in Tangalle!) You may even get a surprise and complimentary dessert. The 🍚 and curry combination is in response to market and seasons so we ordered veggie and curries on consecutive nights and were treated to new curries that were incredible. I also tried the tasty potatoes and fried rice. Both great as well. There are cards for the wait. (About half an hour but actually fastest I found around Sri Lanka so no problem and definitely worth it). There is a bathroom and off road parking for a few scooters if you really need it. walk in and take a seat and enjoy!!

Lovely family-run restaurant and homestay. Delicious food and great value. We ate here several times. The rice and curry was full of flavour! We also stayed at their homestay. The family make you feel at home. Really helpful and kind. The room was clean and cosy. Amazing place!

I don't usually leave reviews but this place was absolutely outstanding!! Probably the best food we've had in Sri Lanka (after 3 weeks traveling around eating everything in sight), amazing prices, big portions, and great service. Delicious food made to local taste. Can't speak highly enough of this place! Do yourself a favour and eat here!

This family run restaurant has some of the best food we’ve eaten in Sri Lanka! Every night we enjoyed different vegetable curries and rice, it was deliciously fresh and flavoursome . The owner is a young man who is very kind and helpful . We actually stayed at their homestay and again I can’t recommend enough ! Check this place out if you are in Tangalle , you will be back every night for more .

Great food and lovely family. Lots of delicious extra dishes to go with the prawns. We also had the vegetarian curry and experienced the best dhal in Sri Lanka. A small sign makes it a bit difficult to find, but make sure not to miss this gem.

The best Restaurant in Sri Lanka!! I would give them 100 Stars if possible! The food is soooo good and really big portions! The prices are better than in all the other places in Tangalle! You taste the love the food is made with!!
