Authentic full of beautiful flavors and spices! The pastry on the vegetable samosa was the best I've ever had. Light and crispy and melt in your mouth. My vegetarian curry was full of fresh vegetables. The kitchen caters for vegetarians with separate fryers for samosas, baji's etc. My husband had a chicken biryani which he rated a 4/5 only because he rates mine a 5!! The chef has 22 years experience overseas and we could taste it! Can't wait to come back. The photos don't do the food justice but just look at that filling in the samosa!!!

Chips taste like they had been refried in the deepfryer some were quite oily.
Minimal amount of butter chicken sauce to go with the large chips and sauce. Bit disappointed to be honest. Needs to be more sauce

Staying in Napier for a holiday this week and we had the chance to visit quite a few food hospo places. I have to say I was very impressed with the special at Indian takeaway . There is a special on the menu which I think is a great promotional idea. The food that we received was great with good presentation and the service was excellent. I would happily recommend this takeaway for a food and amazing staff .if you are in this area.

Love the Samoas with Cashew Nuts and their devine Butter Chicken. It is our new family favourite for Indian Food. Great delivery service direct from the Shokeens which is much more economical than ordering through Deliver Easy.

Best Indian takeaway in Napier. I've been there quite a few times since they've opened. The food is always delicious and the service is 10/10 always with a smile. Good amount of food for the price. Would recommend

It's always interesting when a place has some dishes that are really good, then another that literally doesn't get eaten.
The Korma from here is unfortunately very bland. It literally tasted like it had been water down. We were initially sceptical about the colour being a light greeny yellow, opposed to the usual rich yellow of korma.
Rest of the meal was good, and would have happily rated this 5 stars, but having a dish that had one mouth full eaten and the rest thrown out has dragged it down.

We got the Combo for 2.Really Easy to order online & as Soon as you walk in the Store you know its going to be good. Greeted by a Friendly young lady . order was nicely Packaged & the Store was Clean & tidy. We had mild butter Chicken & Medium Chicken tikka. Both were Beautiful But our naan Bread was tasty but a Little dry. over all good 1st Experience & We Will be back . Plesently Surprised thank You & keep up the Good Work
