They had a full house for Saturday dinner, so we made a reservation for dinner the next day. Not a huge selection of beef cuts on the menu, but their jyo-karubi (short rib) was so delicious we had several repeat orders. Gyutan (tongue) shio is also worth mentioning. Fruit ice-lollies were a nice sweet finish to a good dinner. It was raining when we finished, and the owners were so kind to offer us umbrellas to get back to our hotel. Worth a visit if you're in the area. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Superior Beef Short Rib

Service was good, owner speak english and has english menu. Meat parts selection (beef, pork and lamb) are limited. Kimchi set is good and have korean bimbimpak and cold noodles. Restaurant is small with 6 tables and bench seating. This is an ala carte yakiniku restaurant, recommended if you are around this area. Plenty parking space available outside the restaurant. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ¥6,000–7,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Beef Short Rib
delicious yakiniku restaurant very clean, fast service, excellent choice of meat, I recommend ox tongue not very cheap but very good, service speaks English and is very friendly I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ¥3,000–4,000
Very good quality food! Nice pork and beef. The chef was doing his best to serve us even when we can't speak or understand Japanese. You won't regret for what you have paid.
Location is convenient, it's only a 5mins walk from JR station. Food quality good, well worth the money. Menu is available only in Japanese, but shop owner speaks very good English so you don't have to worry. Excellent customer service, very friendly. Overall is a very good dining place.

Very good barbecue place, using charcoal instead of gas. The meats are good quality, offering beef, pork and lamb—strangely no chicken though. The pork is local Biei pork, quite good. The complimentary melon for dessert is really sweet. The staff is friendly and speak reasonable English.

Mouthwatering yakiniku and it was definitely one of the best bbq beef in japan. Glad we stopped by as the yakiniku place beside was totally full. Blessing in disguise!

Seriously the best Korean bbq I had in my life. The meat used were incredibly fresh and delicious, I didn't even had to add salt or pepper seasoning. And it only gets better after you add some. And the service is great, the staffs are very friendly and welcoming. And for the uninitiated, there is English menu. Come, and you shall never regret it.

Though this place is quaint, it offers some of the best wagyu beef and pork I've ever had in Japan (yes, even better than places in Tokyo or Osaka). The owners are also incredibly friendly. I was also really surprised at how good the steamed bowl of rice is. Overall, a wonderful meal and experience :)
