This is the best restaurant in the area. Perfect sea food, freshly cooked, very tasty. We had breakfast and dinner here 7 days, everything was tasty and perfect. They cook the food fresh, lots of vegetables, sea food, juices. Thank you! ❤️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome sea food. The devilled prawns were one of our best meals in Sri Lanka. Staff is very friendly. Food is cooked freshly so consider some waiting time until food is prepared as often in Sri Lanka. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 2,000–2,500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We have been a couple of times. The curry plate was fab for lunch. We had crab and prawn dishes for dinner, crabs on the small side but the prawns were tasty and the side dishes made the meal. Atractive restaurant Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 3,500–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have just been to the Sea Shell Restaurant for dinner and truly enjoyed it. The staff are so friendly and efficient. Although we were not too adventurous with the menu tonight, the vegetable soup was freshly made (just for the two of us...), and rice dishes were very large and tasty. Cost wise, great value, nice ambiance with good background music. The chef personally came out to make sure we were happy with the meal, which is always a nice touch. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 2,500–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely food - lovely people. I would recommend it most highly. They do a five course curry menu with rice and it is delicious. I’m vegetarian and been in Sri Lanka for two weeks, and found the food options surprisingly bad. Everyone just serves plain noodles and veg or plain rice and veg, which has no flavour. Sea Shell know how to cook. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 1,000–1,500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant is close to the Turtle Watch Rekawa, if you want to watch the turtles, make sure to stop at this nice restaurant first. The owner and his son welcomed us warmly. They even went to get special prawns and calamaris for us as an extra. The food was really delicious. Nicely seasoned and good taste. This was the best food we ate during our trip in Sri Lanka. When we couldn't find a tuk-tuk for our journey back to the hotel, the owner even took us by scooter! What fantastic lovely people! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person Rs 1,500–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great spot! Very close to the turtle view point. The owner and his son were lovely. They prepared the food themselves and it was super tasty! Especially the deviled shrimps were amazing. The place is lit with fairy lights and you can sit comfortably. Would definitely recommend! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
