Nice place with delicious food affordable prices. Personally recommend crumbed chicken burger, one of the best in my life Waiters maintain the high rate as well, want admit waiter Madhuu. It has been lovely and very good service. In the nights you can also enjoy live music and whether you are good singer or not, to sing along. Sea view gets points as well

Ate dinner on the beach of this bar/restaurant. Fresh seafood but very boring sauces & tastes in general. Grilled octopus came soaked in a sauce & fried not grilled. Service friendly & quick considering how busy they were. Reasonable prices & a beautiful cat befriended me. Overhaul the menu & keep it simple! Good luck

We were so lucky to be able to spend one week in the Sea Salt Society apartment above the restaurant during Christmas 2023. It has really been a awesome experience. ||We have had amazing food, creative and really tasty cocktails and excellent service from always happy and helpfull staff. ||We did off course try other restaurants in the area but kept coming back - as this place is just cooler than the other places - and the quality of food, cocktails and service amazed us every time.

Such a cool beach bar! We celebrated a friend's birthday here and the staff were so friendly, they made a big fuss of us, even decorated the table for us! Food and drinks were great. Right on the beach with such a relaxed cool vibe! Thanks to all the staff especially Tilina who recommended the place and gave us great service.

We went for dinner and order some drinks as well, 2 beers and a gin tonic. The beers where warm and the gin tonic they just brought a glass with gin and a bottle of tonic, but they charged as it was a high end cocktail. We had to ask for ice, and we returned the beers without opening them and the waiter in first case he didn’t want to modify the order and take the beers out, he kept us offering others beers while we keep refusing. After that, the service was really bad, the waiter seemed to be angry with us for returning the hoy beers. One of us ordered the salad and seemed to be a side salad, super small.

Delicious food (we had seafood and pizza), great cocktails, amazing view, also very good live music. We visited a year ago, and when we came back, our waiter Thilina recognised us straight away and gave us a warm welcome. He was so friendly and smiley. The restaurant was very busy that night, but Thilina was very attentive and looked after us well, thank you once again for such good service. Sea Salt Society is now our favourite place in Hikkaduwa :)

The best place on the beach I found. First time went there for a dinner - had fried calamrk, shrimp curry and a few coctails - all was very good. I noticed they had sunbeds so went back one afternoon and spent a day at the beach there. Had a shrimp burger for lunch, few ice teas and a smoothie. Again - all very tasty. Comfy sunbeds, showers to wash the salt off after a dip in the ocean, pleasant service, tasty coctails and even towels available for a small charge. Oh and also - nice and laid back music throughout all the times I spent there. So a very european beach club vibe. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience overall! Loved it! We went with the family and it really surprised us! Only thing, the catch of the day was a bit burned and not the tastiest of fish! However inside it was tenderer than what we expected. Everything else was a delight! 🥰

Nice place to sit and hang however the food was overpriced. The chicken burger could use some (extra) sauce and toppings, the falafel turned out to be a salad with pita chips instead of an actual bread. Fried calamari was good.

Amazing restaurant, really recommend humus sandwiches, churros, soup and others. Except pizza. The rest was great really. And service is on a high level. We have been eating here every day
